right everything is done(or so i thought anyway) on the way up to the wof this morning got to about the end of the road and then the front left started making some fucking loud noises and pulling to the left hard(FUCK) i thought it was the wheel bearing so i bought new ones and replaced them but after closer inspection it was the pistons on the calliper seazing so that was an easy fix pushed it in and out a few times sanded off surface rust and sparayed a bit of crc on it so thats all done and even make the car a bit quicker as the brakes arnt stuck on also went for a cruise up to kerikeri and picked up some extractors off happyvan (cheers boe btw).

iv have done a few bits and pieces since the last update,it got a wof and after burning around in it for a couple of months the rings fucked out so iv started rebuilding antother 1600 with new rings/bearings,race/rally cam,mild ported gt flat head ill let pictures tell the rest(no particular order)

old motors now out and i pretty much have my motor all back together

new cam chain

new bearings

new rings

new waterpump

new termostat housing

full new gaskets

new oil filter

new spark plugs/leads

honed block

race/rally cam and followers to suit

lightened flywheel

gt flat head

light porting

got this lightened for a box of steinys just need ta get it balanced now

stripped the engine bay down and painted it came up quite good considering i was using cans

also have decided to put motor back in less the lightened flywheel as i have no $$ to get it balanced that can be changed over at a later date i need the car on the road as having no transport sucks ass

yay its all back in now sounds pretty agressive with the new cam in it all i needa do now is get some brake fluid and bleed the brakes(i replaced a couple of brake lines in the engine bay) and make up a couple of spacers for the electric fan as its hitting the rad
