MESDUP
ok guys i know its not realy old school but its a project none the less. picked it up off a guy from auckland a month ago. motor was poked as the rear oil cooler line came off and he didnt have an oil pressure guage so by the time he found out it was too late. heres some pics of it the day it got back to my pad. has a bit of a dent in the front but im not concerned with tht at the mo. this is the old motor. 13b bridge port there wasnt much to play with when i cracked her open so sold the plates and the 1 decent rotor to fund a new motor. the boys gettin in there. typical tho, when you really need help no ones there but this time i was sweet and 5 of the boys rolled round to help me pull it out! . bought a 13b tallport last week, will put pics up of tht soon

MESDUP
got my sump all done, but my flywheel is way too light (7ibs) so have to find another one, am tempted to spend $400 for a billet one but we will see, any ways this is wat its lookin like at the mo. still got to paint it up so ida and waterpump will come off, sump been painted up etc
MESDUP
motor all painted up, looks alot better than before, as you can see i ended up forking out for a billet flywheel through green brothers of tauranga. $360 not too bad of a price, its a 10ib , i did want something a bit heavier but im not complaining, apparently the clutch turns up tomorrow

MESDUP
fired it up 2day!, didnt take long for it to fire into life, and once it warmed up i turned it off and now it barely takes a second to fire up. still havnt hooked up alternator cos i dont know which way the spades go on. went for a blat up the road with no seats in it, had to leave the door open so i could rest my back on the pillar, but it went nutty as. anyways stoked tht it starts off the key and goes quite hard. will put seats in tomorrow and go for a drive

MESDUP
Little bit of an update: Had a bit of a spending spree over the last couple of months. On the list were: New gauges Tacho (Van only had speedo and fuel gauge working) new KYB gas shocks all round New nolathanes all round new rear leafs (sent off to get reset) Sold the old wheels and got some second hand ROH blades Put 2 new falkens on. Now the van is at my local garage getting all the little things done to it before i go get a cert, but before that i have to tint it and get a drive shaft loop made up.
