Muzzie
Well, the immense task ahead has officially been started The task - make my blue Uno go faster! And look good, and generally rice it up Recipe: Begin with - 1 1987 Fiat Uno Fire With 1 1.0litre, 4 cylinder, carby motor with a nasty 4 spd AND - 1 1986 Fiat Uno Turbo ie With 1 1.3litre, 4 cylinder, fuel injected, TURBO with a 5spd And stir , yes thats right. Motor swaps (along with everything else mecanical is about to be swapped ) Future posts will contain progress reports and photos (And yes, the room off to the left behind the silver turbo with the girl on the wall is mine, and to save you the trouble, its Carmen Electra, shes topless and in a thong 2 sizes too small ) Disclaimer, yes I do know this doesn't count as oldskool, but RTs Falcon is in here and it's the same year so there Discussion Thread: //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/18963-muzzies-fiat-uno/?hl=fiat

Muzzie
Well, got the exhaust sorted out yesterday. Much quieter now, and won't attract as much cop attention. Took it for a warrant this morning... Coulda been worse. Required repairs: 1) Secure Bonnet Sound Deadening (factory thing, I just used washer to fixed where the holes were ripped) 2) Secure Front Grille (one clip broken, fixed with a cable tie) 3) RHR Seatbelt To Operate (stole one off the 45) 4) Lap Belt (was pushed down behind the seat, lazy mofo wouldn't get it himself) 5) Drivers Seat Insecure (being a two door, the front ones fold forward to allow access to the back, it just wouldn't click back into place right, bent the clips a bit and works good now) 6) Headlight Intensity Uneven (replace the bulbs) 7) Improve Brake Pedal (bleed the system some more) Steering Wheel Loose (tightened up obviously) 9) Secure Front Brake Hoses (just needed those little clips shoved on them 10) Secure Back Brake Hose (again a stupid clip) Will be going to see them tomorrow and hopefully will come home with a warrant. And shhhhhhhhhh, they don't know it's a swap and should be technically certified hehehehe.
Muzzie
Finally I have a Warrant, after some more fiddling with the brakes, and I actually got them to work better. Now I may have to get new rear calipers (sigh). Damn pistons don't work that well.
