atropine Posted July 10, 2005 Share Posted July 10, 2005 yeah ive given up asking when itl be done.. besides even if it was finished tomorrow itd be a good month or 2 before i could drive it, unless i made a trip home for a weekend.. or pay huge prices for fulltime parking here in welly.. full black vinyl is one of the first things on the list, or leather if price isnt skyhigh (good luck..).. just full tuck and roll interior.. redo the parcel tray.. get some better side cards and shit.. further on the list is back susp. and brakes.. will be looking into them... suspension will probaly come first.. and im interested in a few things anti-roll or a quickrack.. havent taken much time looking into it though.. 13x7/8 spitties on the back with mad rubber is always a future plan.. if i ever get round to it is another thing... and yeah.. if i have a bit of time with nothing to do at home.. i may eventually finish my 5mm steel cobweb grill.. and lancer, were all cunts, so get over it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

atropine Posted July 10, 2005 Share Posted July 10, 2005 my dad is helping out, all on loan of course (although right from the start i think he wanted this done more than i do.. its the rally escort in his blood..) and the cut labour costs will help also the future stuff will all be when i have the money.. interior stuffage could probaly easily run me 500-1000 dependin how far i go at this point.. theres quite a good place in the bay that does all the jobs for the classic car museum there.. is quite cheap and works outta his garage so that might help.. will see when i get to it.. back suspension.. up to $400? who knows.. not to mention im needing to spend a good 2k atleast bringing the panelvan ive got back up.. but will probaly run 2.5-3k before its on the road.. not to mention im looking at buying a wof/rego panelvan at the moment... i think the van ive got is on hold at the moment... I'm a fan of the engine choice. agreed. i got a fast fours with an article on a mk2 rs2000 with a zetec in it. on 17s. i might scan it up sometime if anyone is keen on a read. this car is tight. will be nice to see it on the road.
