It said when the sunvisor is folded as far forward toward the windscreen as it goes. Depending on how far you windscreen slopes back you'll have less cover there than when your visor is straight vertical due to its arc.

Is a missing roof lining a WoF fail?

No. But I got told to put some in because it would hurt in a crash

My suggestion of the roof hitting your head not worrying about 3mm of foam was not taken well

Nah mate, they look like a work of art to me.

20 plus years of building and running competition cars and I still insist on hubcentric rims or spacers.

Question.. Is it legal to mount your fuel pump in your boot? Or is the potential to flood your boot with gas a logical safety issue.. Apart from the fact it may be noisy..

You can, but it has to be sealed off from the passenger compartment

Have seen a few cars with fuel surge tanks and pumps mounted in the spare wheel well and a sealed lid over the well

Its probably easier to mount it under the car if you can though

Triumph PI standard in the boot.

More chance of exploding than anything else.

I kinda feel like brand new cars/vehicles should meet the same rules as cars/vehicles already on the road...

If a car on the road needs a cert for something that is factory fitted to another car, that factory car should need a cert on entry before rego. If I doesn't meet cert rules, it shouldn't be allowed on the road unless modified to meet the rules.

Should get some horrible sounding, loud harleys off the road.

I had to read this a few times to confirm it was as silly as I first thought, it was.
