whats the dealio with window washers?

car is an 1981

squirters are in the cowl panel/grill in front of the window

i wanna remove them and the washer bottle etc to tidy things up

i have a thought in my mind that if the squirters are there then they have to work but if there not then its ok for a car before 86

only problem is that theres still a mark on the indicator stalk?

My Skyline hasn't had working squirters since I've had it, still has the stalk, still has the squirters, just doesn't have the tank or pump. No tank, no need for them to work, that's what my WoF guy told me.

just talked to my local wof station, anbd according to them, if you modify the track by more than 25mm (the track is measured from the centre to edge), and also if you modify the body in any way, ie roll guards on bolt flares on both are cert territiory. Anyone want to call them out / clarify / eat my last mint ?
