Guest meataxe
does anyone know of somewhere in the north shore where i can get some long wheel studs for the front of my starlet?? i just need some about 10mm longer so i can space my front wheels out about 5mm so they dont scrape on the brake caliper "guard"?? zep
That would probably have to be machined, wouldn't it? Or you might need to do a brake conversion or something. Whole idea is a bit ghetto eh...
Guest meataxe
na, you can get them, i had some on my old datto i had. theyre about $8 each. just need them and about a 5-10mm aluminium spacer behind the wheel. unless i can somehow get the "guard" bit off the caliper, seeing what looked like allen head bolts holding it on were actually rivets, and i dont want to take to grinding/drilling in that area
510WGN
All wheel spacers now have to be bolted to the hubs, so you legally can't just throw a set of spacers and longer studs on anymore. But of course that is only if they notice them! I have 3mm spacers on the rear of the Primera and the testing station hasn't even noticed yet
