trunk-rattlin
ok well hopefully you all know my car, if not its the orange 1300 escort in the gallery, anyway aparently (prev. owners words) the car has had hardened valves to cope with unleaded petrol. Should i still buy those little squirts of shit at the petrol station to put in? 2ndly, what petrol would be best and would it make a difference? if it helps i go 2 bp mainly. dunno why i need to tell you this
si
If the valves and valve seats have been hardened then dont bother with the 1$ everytime you fill, its not like a head is $$$ to replace anyways! In my cort i pretty much always use 96, goes alot alot better than watered down 91 shiz and also, never by petrol thats on special its generaly old, has a low octane , hence the need for them to drop the price to sell it quick si
zep
I run my car on Ultimate, seems to go better than other petrols.
