  1. As most of you know, this is my new project. Very Straight and RUST FREE Hillman Imp Mk 2. Great little car, definately as good as a mini. Body is exceptionally rust free, and has only very minor surface rust on the bonnet and boot lid. Very straight, has one dent on the rear guard (easily fixed). Previous owner had the motor fully rebuilt, and on the 2 occasions i have had it running, it has proven to be sweet running. No knocks, rattles or excessive smoke. All gears work, and brakes work also. It is missing interior carpet, hoodlining, door trims and rear seat base. All parts available through impwerks in christchurch. roll cage + stripped out + some form of nice engine My plans so far for it are to turn it into a road rally/race car. pics am thinking these wheels now im a little grumpy as i think the headgasket is blown and i was hoping to start it up. Not a problem really as i was never planning on using the engine as it is hint hint so, plans for it are: try and get it registerable/recomplied (can do that myself) start stripping it, get it sandblasted then think about chassis seam welding + roll cage + tidy up of body, then organise an engine and its bits... hint hint, then paint and stick it all back together with bits and peices to handle, cool and stop the car. Not much will be happening soon but when it does you'll know. like last time, feel free to contribute to the paint ideas. http://www.motorsport.org.nz/Pdf/M33%20App2%20SchA.pdf http://www.hyp4r.com/hayabusa/hayabusa.htm http://www.ricevigeantracing.com/07-30-01.htm
