Hey guys ive got myself a Isuzu piazza as a project car specs: 1984 2 litre G200z SOHC Engine fuel injected everything standard pics of when i got it: * old owner painted the two rear alloy wheels and rocker cover silver why? stupid idea bought it in may 2012 with no wof or rego with the intention of a quick 6 month fix up/tidy up job for a wof but nooo done a hanger bearing in it for wof had to cut it etc for it to fit then found out both front and rear windscreens leak and broken window plastic holder so window wouldnt stay up so then i took it to a mates and washed all the oil from under car and engine bay and ended up putting it in their storage shed where it still remains then i figured as windows need to come out and different coloured gaurd cos old one had rust and dent i should paint it and after mucking around for 6 months getting quotes etc i decided to do it myself to do a proper job as it had some rust that needed to be treated in some places.

Bellett I recently purchased to replace my aw11 i sold bought unseen on trademe, bit of a risk but pretty happy with the result, runs and drives well, had a wof 2011, reg on hold bad points -Doors -Guards -3x small bits of rust to weld patches in, boot shut, top of one sill and passenger floorpan, overall not bad though -wayyy too high -paint to do -either find better doors and guards or repair current ones -strip paint to bare metal, started already -paint, will do myself, thinking gulf blue or similar at this stage, maybe black bonnet -low -interior re-trim -misc trim bits, seals etc -in future g161z from holden/isuzu gemini but current g150 will stay for a while Delivery Interior, all gauges work, some bits to remove, wheel to be re-done after removing front trim bits, started stripping paint after this ass shot worst rust to repair (apart from FL guard, and its not even a bit hole More bog than guard paint has 2-3 layers so a lot of places look way worse in photos, rear arches are mint, nothing under carpets except for small hole Inspiration colour I am thinking

Hi all, As of this coming Sunday I will be the proud owner of Vettie for a full year (how time flies!) so I thought it’s about time I make a thread for her. Discuss here I owned a burnt orange Chevette wagon back in 2006/7. Tried to swap the original 1256cc Vauxhall motor and 4 speed gearbox out for a Gemini g161z 1600 + 5Speed, but got as far as the driveshaft and got stuck (student spec finances and stuff-all mechanical know-how didn’t help). - please excuse the god-awful trispoke wheels, they were the only thing with rubber at the time. Around the same time I had the opportunity to finish my studies over in Melbourne, so decided to sell up and shift over to ‘Straya for a bit. Fast forward to 2012 and I’m back in NZ, owned a motorbike, sold a motorbike, missing the fun of an old car and find this for sale: Already had the Isuzu Piazza g200z 2L + 5 Speed conversion done! Bought the car from OS/GM-T forum member aninja before he left for ‘Straya (something about these cars push people to the West Island?). Crazytim got the widened steelies before I bought this, so the car came on some sweet original Rostyle wheels. A couple of small issues: Exhaust stops before the diff Small bits of rust Still has the tiny Chevette radiator Windshield, and side window rubbers leak a bit, so no carpet No rear seat base No speedo cable. No cert.

Discussion thread here Picked this up from Richard from Oldschool back in September. Only done roughly 180,000km's, drives well and suprisingly good on gas. No huge plans for it but hoping to tidy up the paint and panels, lower it and maybe tint the windows. Going to keep the original wheels but get some decent rubber on them.
