  1. I thought I would start one of these for the shed as it will make me take photos and shit of progress, and you guys might be interested. We bought a house at the start of October and it has a pissy little single car garage, which plainly won't do. Since then I have planned what I wanted and have started on making it happen. I go to get consent tomorrow so wish me luck for that. So far I have built a temporary shed to house stuff while it is getting built and have moved half of the garage forward about 5 metres so that the new shed can be built behind it. This is what the section looked like when we bought it, the red square is where the new garage is going; necessitating the shift of the old garage. Plan of what I want from my new shed. And how I plan to fit my junk in it. And a Mezzanine floor for extra Junk. The rough dimensions are 8mx8m 4.8m tall, with a 8x2.5 carport on the side. So To start with I had to move the old garage, to be more specific half of the old garage. This started by gutting the back half, then using the chainsaw to separate the two parts. Then a lot of grunting sweating and swearing by Tom, Sparky, Neil, and myself ( good job chaps). That ended up with it looking like this. The next move is to cut down the dead tree in the back yard and bowl the rear half of the garage, after that I will get a digger in to level the back lawn and prep the site for the boxing and pad.
