Gidday.... heres some 4agze build spam... so a few years back i binned my long run with turbo setups in favor of a 2zzge, then i found another chassis for that swap so wanted to try something i made fun of for years. I rebuilt a small port 4agze (arp rods, race bearings, deck, 0.8 gasket - the basics for a strong enough package. Sc12, 165mm Cusco pully, front mount IC and T50 box at the time. I was using parts i had lying around so it was a real throw together. Never had a supercharged AE86 so was pretty exited to see how it went. Was expecting 180-200HP. And was something new for Karl Skewes and to tune 🤙 Here's some pics Car is 1984 ae86 - ive had it for 18years

Hi all, My engine is a 4AGZE from an aw11 MR2 1986. I am building the engine up for more power and ultimately want to turbo after getting bored with the supercharger. I would be very happy with 200kw at flywheel with increase supercharger boost and effective ic. Other mods are: ARP head studs, port and polish, TRD head gasket, Kelford 193T cams. I have new Hastings piston rings and need to gap which got me thinking of the following questions. 1. What power can the 4agze low comp 8:1 pistons and rods take? Crank is the 42mm and a 7 rib block. 2. What would be the next week points in the engine? 2. Assuming that is my max power for the build, would anyone be able to guess approximately what boost pressure would get that power? Thanks Al

4agze gurus: Anyone have any idea what may be causing this sound? It’s coming from the intake manifold on a ae101 4agze map model engine. Sounds like a pipe trying to suck up fluid.. please note engine always has an air filter on it just removed to record the video. Only makes the noise on idle after cold start knocks off. Seems to disappear when’s revs are on an comes back when revs drop. video: https://youtu.be/_u0iICeAu_c
