i have put the engine in the galant to see how space is between the firewall and thermostat housing and there was absolutely none but there was a space between the cam angle sensor so all i need to do is make the thermostat housing less protrusive than the cam angle sensor





 
i thought and thought n thought again then tried a few ideas none worked that wouldn't involve a lot of welding so i slept on the thought the next day i came up with a brilliant plan and i will tell u all next time when its all done with pics to explain update soon

how did you end up with so much clearance between cas and firewall? ive done exact same swap but only have 5mm clearance haha

Y did u need to change drive shaft? Spline on gear box dif?

hi guys thanks ive found the right belt now its one repco didnt have listed but for my engine but they still had it at depo stroe so thats that problem solved now only problem is i need engine mount brackets...

if anyone has any rwd 4g63 mounts with bracket that bolt to block or just the brackets on there own i have cash and need asap preffer in auckland so i can pick up or i can give gas to deliver..

Hi guts I'm having a night made hear I've brought a mint 4g63 carb engine to put in my 78 gallant went tj do timing belts before h put it in and for some fucked up reason both balancing shaft belts I've try don't fit they both 2 short... I've try every wea and no June seems to have any other listings other than the ones I've try.. I've try the 55 & 65 tooth belts both same length and to shirt. Its only thing stopping me from getting engine in snx car back in the road

lol its a flat deck tho so not much weight really haha just tired engine and timeings abit out also lol think def  time for new engine haha just gota get this 4g63t built and figure out how to get it mated up with gbox n all wired in lol

get an engine with 6 bolt crank to save many headaches. 

i  am tryi8ng to do same thing in my l200 but i got a 7bolt..

mine in my l200 dont smoke up lol it bit tired and rattly tho haha

so this is my daily driver.. pritty tidy al round bit off rust under cab is only thing stopping it from getting a wof,

currently running a 4g63 sohc carby engine is a bit tired and think some minor internal damage since trying to fix oil leek. replaced front crank seal but wile doing so accidentaly washd of timeing marks so tryed seting cams to tdc and ended up turning oveer with cams about 90deg out before reliseing cam marks were not the mark on top rocker cover but small nub on left side of head.. shit :/ got it running again but def can tell some damage was done and is still leeking oil and have used so much degreaser trying to find oil leek but seems impossible to locate 100%..

hey so iv gone and brought a 16valve narrow block 4g63t.. its 7bolt.. i have standard l200 narrow block gearbox and standard l200 clutch.. what do i have to do to make this work? any help would be much apprieciated

what fly wheel and clutch will work with a 7 bolt 16valve narrow block 4g63 and a standard l200 gearbox??

hey does anyone know how id go about putting a 16valve 7bolt dohc 4g63t in my l200 using the standy l200 gearbox? is that possible? i cant seem to find any info thatl tell me if l200 gearbox is 6 or 7 bolt.. its a 1986 l200 sport 2000.... please help guys?

hey guys so ive got a 86 l200sport 2000.. 4g63 sohc carby, wanting to upgrade what engines would bolt in with same mounts and gbox was thinking 4g63dohc or dohc turbo but might be a bit expensive atm as cant find many around what othe roptions do i have and would the dohc 4g63 bolt up to my sohc 4g63 gbox??

hi doe any one know how id go about doing a 4x4 conversion on my 93 cyborg-r ? its fwd 1.6dohcb mivec 5speed.

eg: parts i will need and what cars i can find them on like will i bee able to grab all the parts of a evo 1,2 or 3? will they fit and what gearbox would i need?

any knowledge would be helpfull this is just a thought i had would love it if i could make it reality and cheeply lol
