factory ae82 , so no knocksensor as far as I am aware , the other thread was similar problem but no conclusion - anyone know if they sussed it ?

any one had a bluetop 4age that the timing retards rather than advances when revved ? basics all ok , HEEEEEEEEEEEELP , car was running fine until a big end related engine swap (bluetop to bluetop)
