  1. I have no problems changing date so that rad out of towners can make it along, it's not like I have jack shit to do on any given Wednesday.
  2. Metal to bog ratio is pretty good for an old english car. Can you date the repairs with newspaper articles?
  3. After very nearly not making it along, I'm stoked I pulled finger and did what needed doing and dragged myself along, frikken amazing day. Some sweet sheds, epic toys (that jet engine...!), great banter as always and top notch hospitality. Top marks go to Neal and Ben for going the extra mile. A++ would trade again!
  4. I also found with my Tomtom that the maps are so freaken out of date, even the latest maps are missing heaps of roads. It doesn't even have my mate's road in gissi and their house was built about 5 years ago. Not to mention mine only had the 3 month map update garauntee and no updates till just after that magic 3 months lapsed and then they wanted me to pay over $100 to update it. So my advice is get a unit that has free lifetime map updates (most Navmans do now) and use google maps to find all the cool shit, grab the address, and just punch that into your gps if you want to use one. I only use it on long trips now otherwise it's google maps erryday.
  5. I keep skipping this thread! Soz brah, keen as for touring sheds!
  6. Did anyone get any pics of the sick roadster? Or my one parked next to it?
  7. I woke up at like, 8.30am to the sound of rain on the roof and decided then and there that bed was far more welcoming than rain and coffee, haha.
  8. Sounds like a super lush idea. Start with breakfast and finish with dinner and some beers. Perhaps can be extended from garage specific to just 'lush oldschool shit' so those with sweet vintage bikes and stuff can feel included. Summer sounds like a decent time to sort it too.
  9. I'd be looking at your glowplugs or possibly your glow plug ignitor.
  10. Closest measurement I can get on the sides is 41mm, bloody hard to get vernier calipers in there and mine are metric, haha.
  11. If you wanna part with that bottom end let me know. You should have this running easily in time for next nats bro!
  12. Can't make this one either sadly, down in Hastings for the weekend.
  13. House speakers, CB radio, knitted seat covers and a mattress in the boot and it'll be perfect. Looks mint man!
  14. You also need a woolen scarf. And aviator sunglasses. And a starbucks cup holder. Sick bike!
  15. Just watched that vid, I never knew just how much work you had put into that thing guys! Will now have to spend an hour or two reading your build thread to see just how you went about it. They really did that car justice though, loved the way they pieced your story together.
  16. Was so sweet to run into you on the way to nats bro, great convoy, awesome car and top bloke to boot!
  17. Check under the bonnet, there's a funny looking little cylinder thing behind the front grill that plugs in, this is some temp sensor and with it unplugged the heater will always blow hot. Dunno about window switches though sorry.
  18. I was gonna roll in early to ensure we get a spot, leaving my place at 9 so will be there by 9.20 or so. Chris you should roll straight there and park up so we can get everyone together.
  19. Yeah pretty sure my cousin would totally be into that... Incest and icecream don't mix well.
  20. Was definitely the first meet we've had a number of available parking spaces. That being said the burgers were great as always, the yarns as high quality as you'd expect from the likes of oldschool and the after dinner mission to the bay for some icecream went down a treat. A++
