Also found my 325i had the same issue, turns out had gotten the ecu wet (after a car wash, but having the rain channels blocked with crap also causes it), which in turn made the fuel pump realy spazz out. left it a couple days while thinking of ways to burn it, but dried itself out. most likely not your problem but if all else fails may be worth a look

Can sus a wheel alignment for you too if you like. Can just leave the car here all day too if that would make things easyer?

can get 185/55/14 for $105 or if you dont want assymetrical $115 can get the toyo 185/45/14 but for something silly like $160, mostly because of 9.50+gst postage per tyre!!!! or you can have the 185 55 14 directionals for frezzy

Before you paint that bumper i'd recommend using a heat gun on it, turns it black again and free!. Worked on my Mira, there is a fine line between black and melting though and takes some patience. Sweet Daihatsu too!
