  1. Very nice find there mate, especially with the low km's. Hopefully you get the problems sussed and can get into the hills for some summer evening thrashes! Keep an eye on the approx 4km of vacuum hoses that run the sequential turbo set up, they are famous for causing low power/rough running issues. Good excuse to go big single anyway haha

    Dizzy looks sweet imo
  3. Yea at that height it just rubbed like fuck and ripped the lips out of the front gaurds. Had to raise it slightly for now, have a guard roller on the way so will attempt to pump the gaurds / at least fold the lips up. Then low again.
  4. Thanks guys. Wheels are 18x9 rear and 18x8 front, 35p offset.
  5. Cheers man. Good spotting too, dirty old woodstocks!
  6. Pics with new rims, pretty happy with it now.
  7. You wont get bugger all turbo info from goughs (cat dealer) best to go to garrett direct.
  8. So there is a circuit in my car which is draining the battery over about a 2 day period. Have been working round this by pulling the negative off the battery every time I park it up, but this is a pain in the ass. Was wondering what the best method would be to find out what is causing the drain? Not the stereo/amp, have unplugged them and made no difference. Car has no alarm but has immobiliser fitted. Any help would be much appreciated, dont want to take the car to a sparky for what I'm sure will be a fairly easy fix.
  9. Scored these today. Should fit OK, will have to try and find someone in gizzy tomorrow who can fit me up some tyres.
  10. Good to see an update, cant wait to see this running. Nice singing too haha
  11. Nice car mate, was one of the best at summerdrags this year. Loving the new intake set up, will be interesting to see what happens on the dyno. Honestly who doesn't pull a bit of a cheeky skid on the road every now and again, at least its out in the country away from any busy roads and neighbours.
  12. Yea was thinking that. I had a look at that single rotor ride on again and that thing is running a car diff of some sort. Pretty sure it was a mega shortened hiace diff.
  13. Yea I don't think there is a huge pressure build up at all, like you say. I'm only running 8psi at the moment.
  14. Interesting read so far! My setup (13B turbo) has the two vent tubes from the filler neck connected to a vented catch can with no drain. This works fine until the catch can fills up and the engine starts blowing smoke. Just have to remember to tip the can out every 6 months or so and its sweet!
  15. How much do you want to spend on an engine? Mate has a green bros 13B PP hes trying to get rid of, 300hp atw. Would be a weapon in a starlet!
  16. Mate had FC brake setup on a 626, 13in rims wouldn't fit. 14s did though, just.
  17. Cheers guys, I'm pretty happy with it so far. Going to look into getting it on a dyno at some stage just to get the tune checked over, as far as I know it has only been road tuned to 10psi boost. Had a chance to test out the LSD today in the yard at work, did the trick! Will try and get a vid next time.
  18. Picked this up on sunday, was a sweet drive from wanganui back to vegas. 89 S5 RX7. 13B extend port, dowelled and balanced block, T4 turbo, 800cc injectors and Microtech LT10s running the show. Few other bits and pieces. No plans for further mods at the mo, just going to drive it for a while. Maybe some different rims and a bit more low.
  19. Was that your WRX thats been stolen? Ratshit luck if it is, hope you catch the pricks!
  20. This is pretty cool http://www.smokecloak.com/en/
