  1. morning not walnut shell no using crushed glass but the fine stuff is nice will leave a satin finish but not polished vapour blasting is a better again finish but expensive.And uses water.

  4. looking good now its coming along i like the older style bumpers much cleaner look did grim have that? its looking like i might not get around to doing a chrysler avenger will probably just stick too hillman i have two brand new headlights for one but i payed a lot for them pins look better body colour indeed.
  5. yes a white one its pretty tidy everywhere else except the front that had a prang,have spare gaurds bonnet etc that came with it but they are pretty average pity because the originals are rust free but badly bent. will check out the face book link cheers
  6. cool looking cars i may have the option to purchase one soon,its had a minor crash on the front are you breaking your spare car or is it a runner too? looking for bonnet and front gaurds the ones i have arent the best mostly bent.

  8. i know this car was a pretty solid shell from memory just had tunnel cut out rather roughly,did you also get the brown 4 door with the car?
  9. you might want to check out the rules for brake pedals in the hobby car manual we had trouble with escort pedal boxes and welding brake pedal was a no go.even though yours looks like a very good design and execution you may get caught on it.
  10. love this car,headrests are awesome those seats look relatively straight forward to clean up.What pcd are the wheels by the way?

  12. the white fiat 131 that was in the place you got it had a 1600 twin cam and rear drive box in it for easiness,but as you say maybe not enough power for you.

  16. will be following this with interest we will be up in october for targa think taupo is the first day if your around and want to get a photo with the jumbo and yours together.will let you know closer to when we go
  17. yes green one i think the one that had the bmw bike engine with it,another one arrived two days ago a race car one. you could probably get this one from bruce as he just bought it for bits. i will send you some photos when i pick it up or i might be taking the 2 door torana not sure which one yet.
  18. came up well after a clean,16v are getting hard to get now they go quite well a mate had one in a mk1 back in eire frightened the shite outta me
  19. cleaned up a treat you will have to bring it bak to pigeon valley for a trip
