So I'm about to persue in making a slam trailer mk2 which will most likely be a slower project then my last one since I'm now on apprentice wages. Plans are to air bag the trailer for easy access of bikes and things off the back. Haven't quite come up with how I'm going to bag it yet wether I go for custom A arms or just a big pivoting arm of some style. Want it to look real dope behind my c10 chev. Bought some guards off shakotoms dad with a part trade for some Toyota plate surrounds for his hot sister. And some Cadillac 15 inch wires from zebra dudes smashed up Seville

Tig welded up some zorsts today at lunch hoping to weld them in place after work tomorrow I'll have to push Pontiac350 around to give me a hand.

Had POOMAN swing round today and help pull trans away from motor. We pulled the bent flex plate off anf swung down to segedins who were more then happy to replace the flex plate and also upgrade me to the more expensive one free of charge. Everything was hard work but came apart and went back together without to much swearing and cussing. Also mounted radiator properly. Went for a burn in it was super stoked with everything. Also bought some straight through mufflers and made a few dump pipes which I'll tig weld up this week at work

Woffed and reg but no cert. but aslong as you have a garage you go too rather then vtnz it flys through since everyone thinks it should have a 202. Never had shag pile in it tho. It just has ply wood with carpet over top bare walls. Needs just small things done like lengthen the speedo cable for new box and things like that

Spent weekend again working on this lemon. Installed new alloy radiator which doesn't quite fit so will tig weld a few brackets on tomorrow at work. Had a bit of a fck around with the new flex plate now that everything's bolted in. Testament tom and I have found that the flex plate has a 4mm wobble from one side to the other.... Unsure if I've damaged it putting motor in or if Ching wing shitty flex plate! I've had to shim starter motor over more so it misses the ring gear but I'm thinking I might have to drop the trans and replace te flexolate again!!!!!!!!!

Yeh man my aim is to never let this one come off the road for long periods again. Jut do small fixes and replacements here and there but keep It a roller hopefully.

Fluffed around all day getting motor in with the help of Greg from midnight upholstery and Dave Brock lee. Took way longer then expected I'll finish wiring and plumbing up next weekend. Air litre looks stupid big so won't be staying long term.

Re sprayed motor catapillar yellow. Set up new flex plate and starter motor, re gasketed er thang, got motor into position but that last 20mm is just always a bastard! Any one have as tips to get that last bit locked in? Will finish tomorrow when couple the guys come round and I have more hands

I was super tempted Brock to paint the intake aswell haha still might. But I do have a plan to add more cat paint with an intake idea I have which will be rad! You gunna swing round on Saturday help me out back in the truck?

Put the fan, sump and rockers in the hot tank last few days and sand blasted a few bits them smashed some caterpillar paint on them.

Pulled out the tank today looks pretty sweet gave a few areas a small sand blast

Should come out a lot nicer then it went in. Put it in at lunch time had a quick look before I left at 5 and all the paint had stripped off already. Sometimes can leave chemical stains on the aluminium hopefully it doesn't this time I was hoping to not have to paint it

Wasn't overly stoked on how yellow the paint came out. So I've taken a cup of CATERPILLAR dozer paint from work so ill re spray it with that. Also dunked the sump, rocker covers and intake manifold in the alkaline tanks at work they should be sweet tomorrow morning

Degreased and water blasted the motor then fresh rattle can rebuild. Will take the rest of parts to work and throw in the parts baths to wash properly. New flex plate new starter
