Rotaries sit higher because the eccentric shaft is close to centre of the drum. Crankshaft’s sit in the bottom of the engine.

The Viper is the home workshop line and the Razor is the commercial grade. 57 kgs must be a mistake. My 205 ss is 18 kgs.

BMW e30? 3 levers to open/close screen middle and floor. Temp knob on left and separate fan knob on right.

My opinion’s probably not worth diddly squat but I’d be keeping them.

It’s BMW Santorini blue. Or one of their Santorini blues. Seems there’s a 2-3 slightly different shades and I’ve ended up with a couple of them so the jambs and engine bay don’t quite match.

Photos being what they are it’s not as good in real life as it looks here but it’s not bad for a shed job and the overall effect is pretty good imo.

So I did get a shed built and pulled the car to bits. But I haven’t taken a lot of pics but this is kinda what I’m up to.

Lots of the Bosch alternators in the 6 cylinder bmws from around 2000 are 120amp.

Can a front chassis arm/leg thingie be massaged slightly for clearance to air conditioning pump or similar? It’s a ‘96 bmw 328. This is frontal impact age?

Normally I’m not so keen on the timber everywhere thing but I think even I’d have trouble covering that hallway. She’s a nice old lady that is.
