  1. There are a few good Facebook pages in Aussie. There is a rooster over there, Al Bear who seems to have owned or does own 90% of Starions over there. A wealth of knowledge. https://www.facebook.com/groups/238765662935211
  2. Is that a Mitsubishi steering wheel?
  3. Steve is still working on this. He pop's up sometimes on some of the Mitsi pages on Facebook.
  4. Dragging up an old thread here; So @cletus,if a manual pedal box for that same vehicle is used then it needs a cert as you aren't using the auto brake pedal? Just asking as have a Fairmont that was Auto and has had a manual set up fitted. All factory parts incl the pedal box.
  5. I'd paint those bonnet pins to match the car.
  6. $2.75 ATM according to their FB page. Keen to give it a crack over BP98.
  7. Hi Guys, I had a mate sorted to bring a trailer back for me but his plans have changed now. It is a single axle fully enclosed trailer that is empty. Happy to throw gas money your way if you are making the trip. Anyone able to help a brother out?
  8. Yip, good luck with the recovery and the health benefits that come from it. You won't know yourself in a few months time!
  9. Just read this thread. All I keep saying is Wow!!! That is all......................
  10. Geoff Henry Motors in Burns St beside Carisbrook, well, the remains is where to easily get parts for anything old and British.
  11. Do you remember who you brought it from? Has it always been a Southland car? Looks like an old family friends who had one 25 years ago that colour down there.
  12. What was the name of the place that you got the 3M Di-Noc fake wood grain from and what did it cost?
  13. Once it has the re-vinned wof on it you can then register it and get plates at the same time. Will be $400 or $440 for the first time including plates and 6 months reg. Thats waht it is for a freshly complied import so should be the same. Just put a 125cc Scooter back on the road after getting written off and that was $337 I think with 6 months reg.
  14. Sold as a buy now tonight................ http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=631794208
  15. I would gladly take them off your hands and turn them into cash then. Popular in Stockcars due to their short length and reasonably strong, don't weigh a tonne either.
  16. I'm pleased it had a ZF gearbox. Those things are worth good coin in Stockcar Circles. Should get $650 plus easily for it. Ideally it will have the 1.68 3rd gear ratio. 1.41 3rd not as popular.
  17. No list; Calton Hill, Lookout Point, cortorphine, Pine Hill, Brockville, Caversham, South D, NEV isn't too bad but can be cold as mentioned. St Kilda can be good as big enough sections to put cars on. Many of these end up sub divided with 2 or 3 townhouses on them but does come down to your budget. I live further down the Peninsula, prices are good and a great couple of roads to drive to work on.
  18. Might have to open the garage of coming to Portobello. I live 5 ,mins from the pub.
  19. I've been meaning to take some photos from around work. I can think of a number of OS cars that park within a block or two of work. On any given day there can be 2 Starlets, Sub Brumby, R30/31, KE20 and more. Pick the area.........
  20. These guys are great for all your modern car electronic diagnosis. I send most of our work up there when I can and are really easy to deal with. Thumbs up to City Mech too but there are a number of different places in Dunners that I could recommend as well.
  21. I've seen alot of good work from Shiny Bits in Geraldine so I sent my own bumpers there. Was very happy with the result and will be sending more parts there. Can't remember pricing now (alcohol) but was not over the top.
