  1. pointless posting this as you have it sorted but mitre10 Mega now have hire utes haha, Go figure!
  2. haha you got trailer for free because I worked there Dork! They aren't really free to general public, Got to put deposit down and get it back in time, Weekends they are really strict about it but week days they are a little nicer
  3. I will warn you now KK, I went there a few weeks ago for dinner and their food is still pretty average for the price you pay, Cold foods like salads were pretty good but who pays $35 to each salad
  4. and for anyone who is in the wellington area, you can come watch the trial guys throw themself off hills http://www.deadwood.org.nz/
  5. Partners got an 80series, has 35 creepies and they are not ideal to run on the road, they will lane hop on the motorway by a good Metre or more if you dont have a vice grip going on the steering wheel, He put on mudstars of all things on his other rims, last set lasted him 8yrs with a bit of off roading. and they don't walk on the road also one thing to look out for in an 80 is crazy cracking under the steering box, every 80 does it, if it hasn't been fixed it will be coming your way at some point, just lots of little hair line cracks hiding away under the steering box and they have a massive flaw with their handbrakes, the cables stretch all the time, our handbrake is a block of wood and get one with the triple diff lock in them they are awesome but sadly cost more and you can also just put a spring lift in them and fit 35s on them piece of piss
  6. depends on the kit and the vehicle. if you keep swaybars attached and aren't going silly high I wouldn't think it would be a big deal in an 80 series. take of swaybars/make disconnects for offroadtime. RB30 in any patrol would be puss as shit unless it had the crap supercharged out of it. pratols are really heavy. biggest problem will be if you raise the 4wd up, your tow ball goes with it so the arse of your trailer will drag pretty damn close to the ground, Just keep it in mind
  7. Rusty boot More rusty boot Dent in the top of the boot 15hours of pissing around the the guy managed to fix my boot. They left the Lock out though so still need to get them to add that part in haha Just random shots of the car sitting at the panel beaters. still needing sanding Another shot another And some paint for the first time in a very long time. Colour white for the roof.
  8. The doors are currently on the move at the panel beaters. Just dropped the hinges and chrome off so they can line them all up correctly and get them straight. Then onto the bonnet and boot and then on to be painted. then attempt to put it back together which should be amusing. Been so long I've forgotten how too haha
  9. Passenger rear wheel arch drivers side was alot worse but it appears I dont have a photo of it Drivers side Pin hole fixed on the sill near drivers door. Pin hole in the same spot on the passenger side. car in general sitting at the panel shop
  10. The drivers foot well had some pin holes in it After Rust in the back air vent(drivers side), also found some rust on the inner skin of the air vent Passenger side. Choose to delete the vents themselves and keep the holes for the vent to bolt back onto. they did nothing but cause a draft the rear of the car.
  11. So I've been told by a few people to put some more photos up so 3 panel beaters later, finally found one who could do actually panel beat not fit panels Has been one massive headache but finally some progress. My boot floor, you can infact see my petrol tank through the rust the rust at the back of my boot after they panel beated it, and coated it with some black stuffs Rust in the back rear window after
