Oh, when I got home after that Raglan trip, I walked through the door with a fake limp and wound her up for a brief moment. My poker face isn't very good though.

Maybe we could do the opposite this time and really get her going - video calling while doing skids on the edge of a cliff or something.

If anyone has a spare beer crate, I think I could comfortably fit it on the back of my bike with the one that’s already on there. To clarify: so I can carry more of my own junk - not somebody else’s.

Wife finally figured out this evening that we’re using our bikes on the road, and not just going for the occasional ride off-road. She kept asking questions about why I was trying to fit everything on the back of the bike, rather than putting it in the van.

Whaddya talkin about, mate? I’m just movin me cattle, and I got nuthin to do with those bloody hooligans on the scooters.

I got these bad boys from Bunnings this evening. 3.9L is a bit bigger than I need, but they were only $8ish each.

Anybody know where I can buy a 3L (ish) fuel container from? 5L is a bit bulky, but I haven’t been able to find anything smaller on Tarde Me or at Supercrap Auto.

Beauty, that makes it pretty easy then, as I can leave the brake upgrade to last and see how bad the stock brakes are before I start upgrading them. I’m taking about a factory 31hp to 100ish hp upgrade, so the 2nd option you mentioned will apply to me. I doubt I could even get the thing to 100km/h 5x in less than 3 minutes at the moment.

How is braking ability evaluated for a cert when a vehicle with terrible factory brakes receives an engine transplant with a significant increase in power (percentage wise)?

I’ve ridden my bike around the shed about 8 times, and up the road once. And I’ve never ridden on gravel before. Should be good aye.

If someone could bring along a spare screw in mirror or two that I could borrow for the day, it would be most appreciated.

Suzuki TF125:

I acquired a small motorcycle today, so I’m all in for this. The wife doesn’t get angry with me when I buy silly things, but I was expecting her to be disappointed with this one. Instead, she was just highly confused. I think that’s a win.

So I've been looking at small bikes, and I'm thinking a Suzuki TF125 might be a bit of fun. Good for hooning around our paddock too. What do yous reckon?

I only saw this thread 2 nights ago, but I'm pretty keen. My calendar looks clear, so that's a good start. Now to suss a bike of some sort.
