Current timeframe is fine if I'm only doing the printing/making part.

I initially thought a change up might be nice, but we do have a good thing going on at Burger Fuel. Might as well keep it as is. Burgers are always good, and it's cool to see some of the random non-OS member cars that turn up there.

There was one for sale about 5 years ago for around $140k, from memory. Add another $100k on top of that if you were to build one from scratch.

From what I remember of the conversation I had with Steve, the moulds were taken from actual F40 panels. The front doesn't look quite right because of the headlights, I think. I'd definitely want the pop ups and more details in the front lights, rather than the simpler Le Mans style non pop ups.

That squared off front splitter doesn't help either.

It’s a replica/reproduction F40, made in New Zealand by F40 Developments. Although it’s not a genuine Ferrari, I’d much rather have this over an original. It’s an excellent reproduction, but with the opportunity to improve on the now 30 year old technology. Better build quality, better engine choices, engine management, suspension, tyres, etc, at a fraction of the cost of a real one. And I could enjoy the shit out of driving it, rather than worrying about affecting the value of my ‘investment’.

I often think about treating myself with one of these when I finish paying my rental property off in 2026.
