So here i was minding my own business. Then while driving through fielding I see this extremely sexy little mini dump truck on the side of the road for sale. Me being me and having a liking to cool handy little things I thought I have to have it. Rung the man turns out he was a elderly gentleman who had the mighty tipper truck since it was imported and used it for his nursery business, but with covid and age getting in the way he decided to sell this jem. We got to chatting about life different toys dogs etc etc, then he offered it to me for an amazing price. A few specs its a 1991 Toyota townace factory tipper dump truck powered by a mighty Toyota 5K and 5 speed with power steering and air-conditioning that works. If anyone has some duel wheels 4x114.3 or the cool little fat12.5 inch rims for one of these I would be very interested in buying them Enough talk here is some Toyota townace porn for you all

So a bit of information on the 63 classic It's a Australian import from the mid 80s Running a 327 amc v8 Its rego has lapsed And minor rust in the back left wheel arch Seems to run and drive well

We all know how its gos see something on trademe think that's cheap place a cheeky bid go to bed get up in the morning and boom you have won a second rambler

Been getting the old girl ready for a wof Headlight bulb replaced Muffler had rusted out so it got replaced with a bogan spec coby Sounds like a real dirty six now

Thought I would try a new look 17x8 d windows looks good to me just need white lettering on the tires

Wow long time nothing done to the rambler its running mint causing no trouble Due for another wof but I think a break rebuild will need to be done first

Carb on rough tune done linkages done test drive done Wown it's like a different car Runs so much better

Carb and manifold turned up today Will fit it up this morning make up new linkages and see howit goes Will be the first time since I've owned the rambler it will have a choke

well still no luck the 500 holley had more fuel leaks than a bucket with a hole in it tried to put the std carb back on but its leaking fuel priced up a new 350 holley wow lots of $ so tonight i won a good rebuilt 350 holley on trade me with air cleaner off a 265 valant motor so when that turns up i hope the fuel issue will be fixed ( or it might end up with a lexus v8 lol)

looking over the rambler geting it ready for wof time i find a exhaust leak not to worry ill pull it apart and fix well one an easy fix ended up with me welding a cast manafold with my mig so thats fixed now the exhaust leak is fixed lets try the holley carb dam nothing lines up so new linkages need to be made (why cant i find a std carb lol) will post pics when i can get back to the shed

wow long time no updates the rambler has been used most weekends, its been a good family cruiser. have brought a 2 barrel holey carb abd adaptor so will fit that up in a few weeks as ive had no luck finding a replacement carb

another small update car was used for a school ball saturday night it was so cool to see how happy the kids were when the car pulled up and they seen it

small updat oil change done carb auto choke adjusted new msd blast coil in just lots of driving think i need to rebuild the carb as im getting lots of random gas smells when on the open road
