  1. Thanks for setting out the FP versus injector duty cycle considerations. That was an interesting read. The external AFR option, usually mounted remotely to the fuel rail is also a space hog.  Prefer something neat and OEM like the Bosch 4 Bar FPR.  Might work for you if your current direction of travel with more injector duty time etc etc doesn't play out

    Probably wont work in your application but this site offers a Bosch Regulator housing adapter that is designed for  the Bosch FPR. There are probably similar offerings out there.

    From memory that is a nope its not a swap and bolt on. Well not without a  lot of fabrication. I think it runs OEM at 17psi or more.

    No doubt someone somewhere has done it. The V angle of the KL and KJ  engines is different (KL = 60 and KJ = more than that degrees respectively from memory)..

    Yep those three images are from my supermotors.net page.

    The engine is  a KJ-ZEM. (2.3L). I have pulled one to bits to rob it for the rods which I have built into a  N/A KL-ZE with 11.5 pistons. A work in progress.

    I run a KL=ZE in a Presso on a MSPNP2 ecu. That is a Mazda EC chassis (E-EC8SE) , a very close bastard cousin of the BG and CBAEP. I see the TradeMe car is running a CBAEP gearbox with factory VLSD. What engine management is it running??

  5. Sorry Weetbix.   ...but that Trade has been on for sale offer for a very long time, like months and months  (at least as measured by my watch list). I dont think you have much competition.

    Nope not mine.   

    These pictures show one of mine.

    The Side view  shows the Lightened Fly on right. All the balancing boss' and approximately half the back side of the fly removed to reduce weight and then re balanced. 

    My effort is just a KLZE in a  Presso.

    The K8 is the lightest (Marked up as K8-01 in the attached  picture). The other is a KF for comparison.
