someone should buy my r36 and find out
To pollute this thread with nissan, it seems in this note that nismo has gone halfway to a roman 1NZ build on the HR16, trying to resist opening a can of worms i dont have time for. I lold that you ignored rfbs in you first post, twenny debt has to be little ripper certified by lil johnny

you start spending more that 10k but a k13 nismo s (1.5) would go well, might as well get a note with that money though

I don't think he'd get 4 cars in there with his gear without a mobile hoist

Thats the type of unit ill be getting when I move on to finishing the shed rebuild. I thought they were sold under a name like motorex or something, but possibly rebadged
Check out engineeredtoslide on YouTube, he has one and he's doing a lot more with it than most would

I've had a ba wag for the last 17yrs, selling it now as I've run it into the ground more or less and it either needs some love or become a parts donor, honestly most reliable car I've owned despite the workload. If I had more love for it I'd spend some money on it to keep it alive but its just been an absolute workhorse
Id buy another less used one if circumstances were right
And well obviously the answer here is get an xr6t

Out of interest what is the sw20 rad WxL? I will likely V mount IC and rad in z31 whenever i get to spend more time on it (heeding the advice above of just get it running again of course)

^got a point, either rad mounted up right would certainly get it fired up and revving in garage to 10krpm

wondering if you do that then you could form up a reasonable sheetmetal cowl to direct/force air in the right spot if needed/get some air in from underneath

the faster you are going, the less air intake area you need
So massive then

Do you have room to angle rad fwd (move bottom edge rear wards)

When i fitted a p12 primera 6 speed to a earlier car, the best way was to cut the cups off the inner cv's can weld the cups on from the car it was going into (p10). Then you have a large diameter weld, rather than small, so much much stronger. Also looks stock.
I got ADL in auckland to do them, cost $600 but was well worth it.
because i'd love to put a p12 sr20ve and box into a p10 (one day) did this change lengths the shafts or just for compatibility at either end?

oof i wouldnt want to go off the road in one

Oh the days when they were a shitbox. Now I can't remember when I last saw one (the early ones, designed with a ruler)
i wanted to buy one again a while back, couldnt find many for sale and people wanted like 15k+, I still have them in my mind as a sub $500 car (not that i expected them to be that cheap)...guess thats why they arent around anymore lol

Its not but it might have been before nismo did the thing so build plate might say auto. It also says its an hr12de
-
Its not super tidy, looks better from 5m/strategic angled pics, and its done 119,000km. So far so good tho
-
no im not sure at all lol, it reminds me of a lot of the things i used to love about driving an fxgt. its pretty much a polished turd. just need @kpr to change to Garage HR16DE
