  1. Getting the century rims machined to fit should be an easy and cheap job. Its a common mod with fitting newer commy rims to older commodores so ask around local mag wheel places
  2. Better ratios with the 55 than agricultural g52. Should go good with the 1g if you can make it fit under the seat
  3. Does this have a G55 gearbox? and @Goat did you ever offer up the 1G to the engine hole in your hiace
  4. Keep it full of the oil already in it so its a nice oilyboi. Plugs out and a squirt of oil down each cylinder then turn over a few times by hand then put plugs back in, remove plugs once every 6 months or so and repeat
  5. Im sure a GR-R series bellhousing from a hilux and some wizardry would get it rigged up to a J160 no problem
  6. Those wednesday races are fun, did a couple as a crew member for some sailing barry years back. One night he had too many beers and turned into current while motoring and crashed into the boat ramp wharf pontoon thing putting a sizable hole in the bow
  7. Might be a duty cycle thing Lawnmower runs for short bursts usually, hour or 2 max every couple of weeks where as a horizontal shaft engine is gunna be powering a pump/genny/whatever for tanks at a time so detuned for reliability?

  17. Got all the rain in the ford we wanted for the last 5 years in 1 year by the look of it

  19. The air-cooled 2t bikes would of appreciated the extra cooling from the rain
