  3. Yeah keen on SW20 rad size and quality review. Iv been eying one up too
  4. What have you done to your TF @SOHC
  5. My wheels have the center sandwiched between the barrels so it was extra cunty to get them to seal but I got there eventually although a couple have developed a slow leak after sitting for a couple of years so il revisit it once I need them road worthy again. From memory I scuffed the barrels with a wire wheel on a grinder and lots of brake clean before going to smoo town
  6. Scrape it all out and run a bead round the join. Smoo it out let it dry and then do a 2nd bead/smoo over the top of that. I used sikaflex 291 because thats what I had lying round and it seems to stick well to the alloy of the bands
  7. Whats a spray on grey underseal thats a good match for whats factory applied to a 2000s Toyota? I hit something on the road that made a bit of a dent in the floor pan and scraped the underseal off. Panel smashed it good again but need to get some underseal on there to make it look factory again before going for a wof
  8. Just needs a couple of LED whippy boys on both sides of the front bumper and a kenworth windscreen banner
  9. Can you count input turns to output turns to work out ratio?
  10. Surely you can find a 140cc pitbike dumped in a reserve somewhere local to you after a whooliboi police chase and make a big bore adv CT
  11. That Hansen fitting will be fine with the heat. I've run them on the back of a fireplace to hook up a wet back and they didn't even go soft with 80 degree water running thru them
  12. Select japan since it was a jap market car then year and model then engine type
  13. 2 oil caps because it burns twice as much oil as a normal 4age?
  14. More googling says Gates 33049 is to fit a 4L petrol landcruiser up to 1992 so maybe try that EDIT:https://www.repco.co.nz/parts-service/cooling/thermostats-housings/dayco-thermostat-73mm-82-degrees-c-dt23a/p/A1182738?kwSearch=thermostat

  18. Cheers. Had a young guy come from Auckland before and grab some 1G bits off me, namely a block as he had bought @BlownCoronas old Crown and it blew up on him at Hamilton after driving it home from Dunedin so hes trying to rebuild it at the moment. Il pass the info on
  19. @mjrstar do you still remember the home brew 1G rebuild recipe? I remember it being honda or something like that pistons fit with some machining
  20. Common 90s Nissan problem. Easy to pop the switches apart and give everything a clean which should sort the issue
  21. Swapsies idea sounds good. The calipers were off a 22r equipped lux so il find some diesel ones to compare otherwise flip it will do the trick
  22. The lux is back at my olds place in the barn now as most the major fab work is done so I can easily get the rest finished with my basic setup there so loaded up my tools this morning with the intention of fitting the brake calipers to get steering lock back Balls, maybe the ute at pickapart wasnt an SR5 as the calipers are too small for the disks. Do 90s SR5s even have bigger brakes than a povo spec? I dunno something to look into. Got the clutch bled up and it feels decent enough. Looks like my cobbled together setup has plenty of throw so it should work Stripped down the passengers seat rails ready to make mounts for the passengers bucket seat Made a small bracket out of alloy so the grille badge off the crown will mount up. Looks almost factory And a few weeks back I swapped some 1G bits with @Jeffs_Emporium for this sweet old school Blitz boost gauge. Had a bezle off a vacuum economy gauge thing kicking round so swapped it into that and it looks perfect. Wont look too out of place tucked somewhere on the dash
  23. Smol boat big motor makes for big smiles. Cant wait for vids of it nanging up the lake full tit
