Hey @RUNAMUCK. Im confirming numbers this weekend but at moment its looking like 5 of us and we will be stuffing them on the back of a double cab truck and wont have room for more bikes. Ill let ya know if more are coming and may have spare spots. We will be driving up wed and back mon.

So here is my latest build Ive been working on lately. The C50 Chopper has been great fun and a trooper on all terrains and even big distances smashing out 500k over 2 days back in May from coast to coast and back but I had a need for something that was a little easier on the back bone. Que the purchase of 5 x Ct90s in various states. The plan is to build 2 identical custom styled CT90 running Lifan 125s and pack rack systems to haul gear and gas so I can explore some bsck roads with my bud Mark . But first up I had to have something to Race at the Quake City Rumblers Dirtmasters event which was only 5 weeks away. So I quickly purchased a lifan 125 and 6 hours later from pile of parts to complete rideable bike. Havent got any build photos on this new phone so here is some from Dirtmasters that Andrew Wilson took of me. It rode well. Stay tuned for whats happening next

Fuck im fizzing for this still My bike served me well at QCR Dirtmasters and now ill strip down and restyle it for Enduro spec for this East Cape spec. Gonna bring a basic dive kit with me to head out with @HighLUX and others to get some Kai for everyone in Hicks Bay on the sat night. Keen to see what everyone else is riding

I think my bike would get around 120k to a tank so if I carry a 3L fuel can im sure that would get thru each day if we are able to fill up near where we are staying on the sat night.

I was planning on being self suffcient anyway . Keen to haul all my own piss, fuel, spares . Glad I aint riding no 50cc Scoot tho

You guys got it bad. My mrs is totally cool with me building a new bike for this event despite having 3 others capable of riding it. Thrashed mine for the first time down a local river bank and performed well on old bald tyres on the gravel and dirt so will be mint once ive fitted new tyres and rebuilt forks

Surely that cant be right mate. My 1968 yamaha F5 with rotary Valve two stroke 50 4 speed pulled 75kmhr all day everyday. None tuning. Now has a 72 100 rotary valve and pulls 110

Im fizzing for this event more than ever !! Gonna have a good tuning session on the 125s after Dirtmasters. Will need to buy some jets from you in the near future @Raizer. Me & my mate Aaron were thinking a good test ride for our bikes will be from Christchurch to Hokitika and back in a day which is 500km. Will smash that out in October to make sure they are good to fo

After Dirtmasters ill lock down a crew then book a room or two I guess

If you have throttle assembly / cable. Loom.CDI.Coil. this is literally less than 1 hour to remove old motor and fit new one and your riding

Keen on everything

Just rode my CT90 125 repowered bike for first. Built it uo for Dirtmasters next month then ill strip it down and do some frame mods then powdercoat everything black and modify some pack racks for front and back for hauling all my gear at eastcape adventure. Pretty excited for some wheelies and river crossings
