well got let down on the 1gge so back on the look out for one. Was out at kihi kihi wreckers the other day and they had just got a liteace that had some rather nice rims on it. SSR star formulas they are 6.5 inch so no good for stretch but will tidy up nice for a daily maybe will tidy them up with my track rubber for nats. also found another hardtop mark 2 out there was so stoked so spent the afternoon taxing bits off it Thats just a few of the bits, got one of those auto night time adjusting rear view mirrors for extra bling. Still wondering if I can get it resprayed by nats or just touch up the haggard matty B. more to come in the next few weeks

fully ze pistons aren't much silvertop for $3-400, 20v's have there limitations in na form (well Im no expert but f1 and even yamaha went back to 4) but at low lifts has massive valve area advantage, good for boosting. Plus the silvertop rods = same as a ze of the same year which are tough as shit. Theres some mean examples around bazdas 7age 330kw and the land speed record 4age that was 1500cc was in the region of 1000hp (had some mad trick bits in it). But its fully each to there own I like to stick with a manufacturers alternative power plant where possible

^ um because if you start with a 4agze or put ze pistons in your 4age you have an engine ready for forced induction. CA's seem pretty thin on the ground compared to 4ages these days

Yea theres heaps of 200kw 4ages around but it takes more $$ turbo depends what your after most go for china t3/t4's then aftermarket ecu and bigger injectors and your set, there is rangi tricks on stock ecu's that have seen 180kw but I wouldn't go there. Whats some of the bigger hp ca's you've seen/ heard of

Add a new head gasket and head studs to your build up aswell. Carb setup will work but I still dont think you have enough control (well not enough for my liking) on a highish comp ratio. I'd want to use a wide band O2 sensor when the carbs being tuned. plumbing is just the same as any turbo setup really except things get gay for you because its non cross flow, go have a look at some 4k turbo carb setups and add a few cylinders on in your imagination

you could easy run say 7psi even more with decent efi on 9:1, high comp turbo setups go real well if tuned right. what are the rods and pistons like any pics on the net? I'd say with injection It would run mint aye for awhile anyway how many kms she got?

Whats the compression ratio? how goods the bottom end? Carbs and turbos can work but i wouldnt want to go there. You'd really want to go efi to make sure you have good fueling, so custom intake and exhaust manifolds, then all the usuals intercooler, fuel pump and lines etc. theres alot more to it but cant say I know your motor

Also what comes into it is more boost your running in theory your making more power hence more exhaust to bypass means bigger gate so the above quote is correct.
