Banga/Cletus can you confirm/expand the comment re circulating PCV gasses back in to the engine for a cert?

word of advice to the OP.....if the stainless braid flares out like flower petals after the shop cuts it run for cover....or expect to be bleeding from finger tips when you finish installing the fittings......the less flaring, better the quality of product is what I have found over the years.....look up Koul Tools as well if you have the budget....they're a godsend...

on the subject of dimples......went to the Winternationals a few years back and did a tour of a few shops in the days leading up to the drags......one of them built engines for a top-tier V8 Supercars team.....engine was torn down in the clean room, dimples in the ports and chambers....just sayin'

^ that looks really good....question for the certifiers among us, who supplies those modification photos on the database? The owner? The certifier? or?

Firstly, I really like that hood on your car...like Cletus said, I haven't seen one like that either......and it never ceases to amaze me how rotten some cars can be that come out of America.....

^ cheers for that......any chance of some close ups of the lifting?
-
^ can you see if the bumper has been wrapped with one piece or are there joins.....I have been told the chrome substrate doesn't like rolling around corners/bends....
-
piazzanoob, any chance you can take some close up pics of the gold chrome wrapping on that chrysler's rear bumper for me? I spoke to the guy who wrapped it but he wouldn't send me close ups......at the very least I need to know if the wrap is one piece or a series of individual sections.....yes, chrome/gold metallic wraps are hard to do....

just have to say, I appreciate the input from members here, Spencer and Tortron are a wealth of knowledge......I feel the school of hard knocks may have been averted by many who choose to read through this thread.....

^ she told me her local garage had offered to take it as a tradein for a couple of hundred pounds.....that's when I said to get it on one of the forums over there.....dunno how rare it was but I do know anything older than a year or two seemed to be scarce on roads in the UK...

^^^ and DoBro......sorry no pics, I wasn't sharp enough to think of that....it was one of those cyborg models with 33K miles on the clock, my aunt owned it since new.....told her to sell it to an enthusiast when she decides to move it......the thing managed to hang with 90mph traffic on motorways over there....

This whole thread certainly restores faith in the variety of vehicles on New Zealand's roads.....I was in the UK recently (before the plandemic) and drove my Aunt's mid 80s Mirage up and down the country for a week, it was pretty much the only oldster on the roads I saw the whole time....
