  1. Def in the 10 inch gang. Be a few of us I'd say. She'll be right mate. Get her over 60 and see if you can water ski over. Guess I won't be a pussy and pack my boardies for water activities. Got gimp suit for Friday's rain so hopefully minimal stuff to dry out that night. Went and got tubes last night. Turns out the lead is tubeless. Whatta dick, need to go back and try swap them for puncture repair kit.
  2. Soldered trigger wire back on, now back to hooning, need another good ride under its belt before next weekend.
  3. Yeah I'm all good with what ever. Sunday arvo is going to be best for weather I think
  4. Yeah me too, while riding in the rain was a great novelty first time around on Saturday id happily not have to do it again also haha.
  5. I metered the charge and trigger wires coming from flywheel and had no resistance on the trigger coil so @Truenotch sorted me a flywheel puller and found the blue wire not attached so must have been casually bouncing loose all this time. Then rhyscar welded up my broken starter. Not pretty but I have kickstart if it breaks. Mainly wanting to fill the hole back up for when on gravel. Almost ready for more adventure testing
  6. Did a 100km Raglan trip with @64valiant and @Truenotch on Saturday. Got just over 100kms to the 7L tank so happy with that range. Bike ran good but had head light on the whole time and half way it started robbing voltage from the ignition system which meant it started missing so head light of and did the rest of the trip fine. Need to sort that out and give the lead a good check over and I think I'm good to go.
  7. Double post spec but the lead passed wof and is in to clocking up kms before East Cape testing now. Proper fizzing now, beds sorted, bike going good, bring on the sinking some beers after doing dank wheelies /need a clutch like Greg for that stuff.
  8. Rode home the other night with just a tshirt and my jacket sans winter liner was a bit nippy but nothing you southerners couldn't handle so she'll be right mate on the thermals front. Less stuff to bring.
  9. Hopefully have some coin later this month to play with. i'll mark D11 on the grass and take that spot
  10. So bit of a bike noob here. Got a old BSA C10 in a million bits that needs to go back together. 110cc only does 80kph tops. Probably perfect for keeping up. It'll be sweet on the road sections but if I put some ok tyres on it will I go ok on the gravel or is hard tail with spring seat going to own me. I've never ridden it.
  11. That looks awesome, wouldn't have expected much less from Kelvin though.
  12. I'm rather interested in this old cruiser http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1195412710 but being it is quite far down the line i'd prefer not to have to go all the way down just to find out it is a lemon. So i was hoping one of you kind folk down those ways might be able to give it a quick look over and make sure it is legit before i head down? Beers all round if shes a minta. Chur 10 5
