    Would almost put money on the switches being scummy on contacts. Strip em and clean em and see how they behave.

    RTV is your friend there....though I'm guessing all the L series use the same gasket anyway, so oughtnt be a major to get.

    Vortex were 4wd too, selector was on the gear lever. EA82T was slower than a wet week though, couldn't much past 180 in my one
