  1. This thing has been towing a trailer around and doing general daily duties lately. Pretty happy that the engine, gearbox and diff I built haven't all exploded. Even did a skid the other day.
  2. Bought: Toyota Echo/Yaris coils MS3X Precision pt6265 Single 50mm gate Now I just need a new daily, finish the new shed/home and it'll be time to make some power. I'll update this in about a year lol

  4. Oh cool! haha yup that's my old car. I still own a 78 gem coupe but it hasn't run in years.
  5. Took a gamble and bought a 1ggze cam angle sensor, which fits directly in place of the 2jzge distributor.. So now I just need some coil packs and a decent ecu to make it all go. Leaves plenty of room to fit an air filter, when ever I get around to doing the new T4 turbo setup.

  8. 3.9 diff gears installed in the Supra center. It now reads 101k at 100 instead of 120, and rpm has dropped from around 3300 to 2800 which is excellent, except for feeling a bit laggier in 4-5th

  10. It's definitely a bit rougher than when you had it, Ben. I've hit a fence and a bank with the back end trying to be mad mike but one day soon, probably next year it'll get some love

Yeah he was all good, he didn't even mention lowness, and even has a little guard rub on big bumps lol - will roll them when I paint it It's not actually that low at the moment, plus you get 5% to play with so can go about 15mm lower I guess and still be covered by cert. Front wastegate hangs too low atm to go much lower but I'm gonna ditch that turbo/WG setup later anyway. I think he might have been extra nice about the camber as well. He said he couldn't find the spec for the rear camber and "it's only just over 2 degrees so i put it through anyway" - what a GC
  12. Passed cert today! Needs more low, bigger turbo, decent ecu, paint etc and then I'll be happy. Cert is a big milestone though
  13. Also what flange on the exhaust housing?
  14. Pull the compressor cover off and measure the compressor wheel inducer and exducer. Easy to do and will give you a far better idea of what you're looking at. Next step (if someone can't visually tell you what it is) is to pull the turbine off and measure that also.

  17. Yep all info was correct including gearing. I tried multiple pulls and cut them as per downtrails methods. Still no workie. And yes, Emanage is fucking horrible but it's only temporary. MS3X is on the cards, along with a bigger turbo and COP etc

  19. Yeah that sounds about right. You're right though, they are damn expensive so hopefully I can make something myself if I have to.
  20. I could never get Virtual Dyno to work properly with either MS or Emanage. Apparently my Mark II makes like 39hp and my old Gemini makes like 500hp lol - Tried all sorts of settings to fix it but no dice. I think I updated it and it changed the HP readings of both dramatically but still not correct =( Only thing was to bodge the final drive to something ridiculous to get any where near normal readings, but then that defies the point really.
