Will do some reshaping to the rimu drawbar once the glue sets, and make some kind of hook set up. I have an eye bolt mounted to the back of the trike.
Also painted the tray, will probably rivet it on using the original brackets. Painted the white part just before it ruined heavily, so it's not very nice. Oops. Might line it with some wood or something nice rather than paint again

You will probably need to rekit or replace rather than clean.
I'm a couple of years on some rekitted ones without issue (nla so that's the only option on those ones)
If you have easy access to the fuel tap then I'd probably throw a generic manual one one. I always turn mine off when I park so it's 2nd nature

You can get a non leather flat belt that will work well and not require any maintenance, most industrial belt places can make this to size. Some lathe people cut a strip of conveyer belt to size
But I suppose this is oldschool after all and you might want the real deal

like to introduce myself here to the forum - my name is Tilmann and I do enjoy very much any old machinery which is not computer controlled. I like to refurbish and improve and of course use these cars or bikes on a daily basis.
Do you hang around Opotiki in nz?

When I was at tech, some rep brought in a roll of Flux core wire that also used shielding gas. It's party trick was the beautiful welds in all positions even with me holding the torch.
Anyone know this voodoo wire?
gas-shielded flux-cored wires.
