MY First Love Geniune GT with some fruity bits worked 1500gt engine. period minilites with new kumoh white letter tyres, doesnt need anything doing.... just needs using and enjoying... is currently running 110 octane AV Gas... goes mean as..... this is what it looked like when i got it (Gold SupaLights)

i could take the one out of my GT so you can get a pattern off it...... its mint so treat it like gold!!!!

it goes between the heater and the trim on the side of the car, i just got another 1300 deluxe for spares so could probably help with some more loom and what not if you need it. if you do get your car back on saturday, stop by my work as id be keen as for a look

theyre actually genuine e type seats because there is gt, gte and e. e are different because of the supendsion setup, think they have the lotus supendsion setup? i think thats why they are not not high backs any feel free to correct me What ya mean by e type? GTE seats are high back. The GTE is the NZ equivilent of the GT and pretty much the hardest type of shit to get hold of. The Seats in LowMk2s car are from a series1 1600e, the 1600e is the english equivelent of the gte, has full wood trim and klotus suspension....

hmmm... not a big fan of white cortinas, this is one that i restored last year... now lives in wellington, wish i had done it midnight blue or black etc... im gonna do the wagon british racing green with a gold pinstripe

Yeah Quite Rare, Mine is a factory GT theres only rumored to be 3-4 in the country.....

i dont think the speedo works properly as was following a mate down the motorway and he was going 70mph in this mkk2 and mine was only saying 50mph... i stayed around 50-65mph on the way down, it was a bit slow but it made it. didnt have any issues what so ever. really stoked with the car. will get some pics in projects area this weekend.

i just drove a white mk2 wagon from auckland to christchurch this weekend just gone, which way did you go? staight down state highway one or down the west coast?

not all mk3 crossflow boxes are close ratio, it was more near the end of production ford had all these 1300 crossflow motors and close ratio boxes left over...... with mk2s it depends if its a series one of series two car (66-68 ser1 and 69-70 ser2) the series1 has a singe rail box and the series2 has a 3rail box same as the close ratio found in late mk3s..... best thing to do is check the model numbers against a parts book to see if its close ratio or not... that burnt out mk2 looks like it has some good parts left on it...... if you need anything parts wise i have a fleet of mk2s...... may have things you need.....

Go to Agnew Bros on montreal street, they are the best in town by far..... warren there did the carpets in my GT..... job was a 10 out of 10 for a quality and profesional service.....

ive got a fair stash of bits for mk2s, i think i can find you a GT diff thats 3.9 ratio instead of the 4.1 it will have, also should be able to find a radiator and some other odds and ends if you give me a list i will check for you.... also i will be in welly early next month bringing my latest purchase down from auckland (GT Wagon).... would be keen to see this beast.....

the colour suits it quite well, looking at that badge on the boot it looks like a 1300, it may have the wrong tapet cover on it, if you can post the engine number i can de-code it for you...... the turbos suit it quite well, when i get my mk2 wagon down to chch it will be getting wide turbos on it........ awesome car man!!!

my cortina gte just has standard 1300cc non GT pistons, that with a mild cam webber carb and free flow exhaust(factory) gives heaps more go go.......
