Back together - a few minor dramas with order-of-assembly errors. WOF now due - I found one brake light not working in pre-check so will have a look at that.

It makes the dark work - usually recharged via a solar panel. I've had to hack in a couple of C-cells on an old helmet. /Beaten

Nice 3-way cock you got there.

Why not the good old G-series Hiace/Hilux? Won't be a bolt-in but can be had in LSD, and fairly narrow ones are around I forget the exact heritage of the one in my Morris project, but it's about 1650 across the outside of the wheel right now, with some random falcon(?) rims on there. That with a bit of a tweak to the housing, but using stock axles from something 5-stud.

Assembled the lower door panels with only one major fuckup (will see how that crack in the outer ply skin goes in the future ) Going to do a bit differently and give it a couple or three coats of varnish assembled like this before they go back on the car. Also welded up the loose hole (insert Al's mum joke here) and ground it round again ready to reassemble the suspension.

Used K11 juice should be perfect. -
Same place, or pay for a whole new WOF I think.

I need to give each coat a couple of days to dry now it is cooler. So, attacked the other leaf spring pivot bolt tonight. A bit loose in there, nearing Al's mum spec. U-bolt might be hard to get off? Nope. The spring centre bolt had lost its nut somewhere along the way, so the lower leaves came apart. This side is only getting a clean and re-paint, no re-arching.

Kp60nick's D21 kingcab Soon to be Bagged on Cadillac Escalade rims

I was worried about a lot of that sort of thing, but the cert man didn’t seem too bothered. It’s in a big heavy car though. -

It's really easy to make your own 4-bars. I did for the Mercury and they passed cert and haven't broken yet. I also just put the bars where they fit. Calculators? pfft, unless you are going racing or something. -
Sorted out the Amayama shipping issue. I needed to have the matching destination selected on the item before adding it to the shopping cart. Why not just leave the dent?

Back in the varnish mines. Also found this potato photo I took at the 2011 (I think) Beach Hop. Never thought it would be in our ownership

Tried a few different NZ addresses, no go. Have sent an enquiry. It's a nice to have, not an essential.
-
Oh OK, looked at the cart, it says this. They seem to be available though as if I enter a USA address they all look good, just don't like NZ destinations. I might try again in a few weeks/months.
