  1. I can being one/both of these tomorrow if you want? They are a bit crap though.
  2. You can get it certed lower than 100mm. Make sure you get the wheel size you want to run on the cert plate to minimise later issues. You can get more than one size on the plate. Sounds like you'll need to have the alignment done for cert, but you can get it done after the initial check. https://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infosheets/LVVTA_Info_04-2012_Suspension_Camber_Angle_Guide.pdf
  3. Does the cert involve lowering or any suspension changes?
  4. Managed to get some Toyo 155's for my Minor from a MM parts man who imported them. Wider tires can look pretty balloony on narrow rims. (Saw a mouse running across the garage floor when I went to check the sizing - now I have two problems)
  5. Hilux/Hiace are pretty common and can be had in various widths. Plan to cut off the existing mounts from the axle and weld on new ones (not a big deal). You'll need to modify the SD1 suspension design to replace the torque tube though.
  6. Got this one from TM a few weeks ago. Home made, uses air rams for clamping. Seems fairly sturdy, don't think it would do 1.2m of 18g though. Got to be better than bits of angle iron in a vice though.
  7. How about the nice looking hose clamps on your fuel system - where are they from?
  8. It seems 5 years is about typical in my experience.
  9. They are on sale quite often at SCA/Repco. I bought one a while back, work OK and I like being able to leave it connected all the time. I'm not really sure if they are better for the battery than my Repco cheapie one though. I find that works better on really dead/paddock car batteries at the Ctek won't charge those sometimes.
  10. Fucksakes man, that is such bullshit. They are screwing you over with the constant new issues.
  11. MMMmmm sounds tasty. There were people up Cuba St at lunchtime photographing their burgers.
  12. If it ground up into nice shiny metal it's likely steel.
  13. Pop this back in.... https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1729831102
  14. Ha ha. I knew you were onto the scooter thing when I drove by today.
  15. We'll be by at some stage to collect the trailer. Can give bad advice.
  16. Lets see if he comes back, hasn't logged in since dec 2016.
  17. Compliments - good to see another wagon project, and on turbos too. Looks like it shouldn't be too much work to get it on the road eh?
  18. Assume the previous 4M owner is upgrading to a 186?
