I’ve seen it, it’s not as good as a Morris, but I like it.

I might have to get a "Not flash, but it will do" sticker made up for the bike, it seems to be a theme
I have a strokers shirt somewhere with the logo 'not just good, but good enough'

Pretty keen, might need to borrow some terrible trash car from the wounders though.

Well done on getting it legal. That's a lot of work to get through in two years.
Even better is managing to hold on to the car for so long.

Now I know why it’s called HanMeat.

Does the second part apply to vehicles over 14 years of age?

1 year wofs on a classic car are a bad idea imo.
If your getting upset over a 60$ wof then don't own a classic car.
And if the upset is from needing repairs every 6 months then it shows the car actually needs work and isn't safe for 1 year so the 6 month is kinda doing its job
But if jt passes who cares its probably the cheapest part of owning a classic car
It's the hassle factor more than anything.
What makes a 2000 car safer over a year than a 1999?
Nothing, that's what.
It's a stupid rule, but I don't expect a change.

You should get up to 14 extra days:

Vested interests like the mta hate the 6 month wof and the 3 years on new cars so always push the other way.
Possibly the vcc lobbies for a shift to 1 year for all.

I think Neil surtees for surtees boats fame built that.
I wondered about that as it had a Surtees badge on it. Looked like a great job.

One the plus side I labelled the plugs
On the minus side they have mostly faded.
Dug out the intake piping, surprisingly well made I thought considering that I did it, but needed a good clean up
Inside and out. I don't think I had roloc discs back in the day, they are good for this sort of job.
Squirted some good old black zinc inside, will do the outside tomorrow then look at my silicone tube and clamp supplies.
IIRC the radiator needs to go in first.
