Anyway. Are there many Scimitars in nz? Were they popular? Are they expensive? I ember one fella having one on oldschool but that threads gone quiet.
According to the rego data, there are just over 100 Scimitars on the Motor Vehicle Register in NZ

Compliments - good to see another wagon project, and on turbos too.
Looks like it shouldn't be too much work to get it on the road eh?

It’s been ten years since I’ve seen him but Phil was living outside Auckland then. Did have a pink 4AGE Leitch then though
Heh, I visited his place in Akl the mid 90's I guess, bought a 3TGTE TA63(?) Celica off him later for the running gear.
Stalking....

Yeah, nah, I dunno?
I only have about 30psi in the rear at ride height, and ride is pretty non-good.
It's got a bit to do with how the suspension is designed/leverage ratios etc.

The NDT man says I need the following paperwork
Make:
Model:
Registration number (if it has one):
VIN number (if it has one):
A description of the parts.
LVVTA form completed by the certifier.Had to go paperwork mining to find this:
The dairy kept it until 1973 when it was owned by Walerian Swierczynski of Levin, it then staked in the Levin/Otaki area mostly until going to Wellington in 1991.
I've owned it since 1997.......
Managed to find the chassis tag after a bit of hunting (no ashtray to stash them in)
Made the inner guards years ago, but have decided they need to be removeable to get at the engine plumbing, so working on that today.

I bought my parts from Airride NZ https://www.facebook.com/airridenz/
Wasn't much different in price than a direct import.

The cert rule says it must
"terminate in a position where the outer end of the exhaust pipe is not directly underneath the passenger compartment"
