Do they really care about welding tickets? We aren't talking high pressure pipelines, and there is more to a good repair than nice welding. It's not a requirement for scratch build/ LVVTA cert even.

WOF time recently and needed to replace from tires (wheel alignment damage) and get the rear exhaust fixed (I did a hack job on it as part of the airbag thing). I left the car at Jensen & Moore in Levin for a couple of days for Tony to do his thing. No holes now. The brakes were sketchy when driving home from Levin so had a look at those today, and found a distinct lack of brake fluid in the reservoir for the front brakes. I suppose the Corolla reservoir doesn't have enough capacity for the Falcon calipers as the pads wear down, will have to pay closer attention to that. Anyway, needed a bleed session followed by a test drive.

With nurses, naturally.

Heater tap looks a lot like a Morris Minor part. Thermostat housing looks like typical BMC A- or B-series state of play. AT least you are having fun, amirite?

Got to come down easier than go up. I dropped the rear of my Lincoln twice, the diff head slipping off the jack pad. Once with no wheels, landed on the brake drums with no damage (lucky) Second time it had wheels on but the jack went backwards (still lifted up) into the space where the gas tank lives. Made a pretty big dent/crack into the gas tank. Sold the car after that!

Scarier than a speed singles night? Just remember that gravity doesn't care if you get crushed. Did something similar with the rear of a chevette years ago to drop the diff, nearly ended in tears.

Flash guy. I wired in a C-cell holder on my old one. No more battery issues, even with AA's wedged into the holder.
