  2. Bit late to the party, but man this looks sweet! Got a soft spot for heralds, and this looks on point. Will look amazing on wide standard steels.
  3. me and richy were saying the other day that we should totally do another rangiwoods nats again. Hear, hear!
  4. Discuss? - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/29495-sparkles-bmw-of-supermega-happy-hell-yes/ So recently gave this thing a bit of a tidy up, mainly in the interior, which was started by my a1 wife getting me a rad Momo Prototipo for my 30th. The ever amazing Greg for Midnight Upholstery whipped me up a couple of new door cards to replace the originals that were cut to bits for some ugly 6x9s by the previous owner, Simon came to town to make me a little panel to mount the VDO gauges, and Cam chucked a bit of vinyl at it, and totally rewired the engine bay, and got rid of a shit load of unnecessary wires. I also got a nice new gearknob turned up from a guy from the wood workers guild. The highly talented Richy "I'm not a fan of excess Coriander" Opie came down and took some amazing shots - some of you may have seen some sneak previews for a certain upcoming article! Oh, and I also got it retuned now that it's run in. Not much in the way of peak power, but a nice 8-10kw pick up in a lot of mid range bits. Goes quite well! First run in 3rd, then 4th.
  5. keen as a bean. hopefully see ya tomorroW!
  6. Hey guys, Thought we could change the meet up over the summer months. Had a talk to a few of the members, and have come up with something similar but a bit different for this month. As we're summer now, not a huge need for an undercover carpark (hopefully!). Meet at the Campbell Street carpark next to heatrite at 6:30. From there we'll walk down to Pacha's Cafe (Kebabs, Iskendas, and the most pine enducing Baklava). He has some outdoor dining out the back. Hoping to get a hold of him to see if we can book it out. https://www.google.co.nz/maps/@-40.3553583,175.6054796,3a,75y,271.34h,77.89t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sTPuT4f2H8NsMOC2wPp6new!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 We'll seeya then! 7. sorry i got nothing constructive to say,
  8. Who'd get into BMWs? What a sicko. Nice though man. E36s are lush cars for the money they are at the moment.
  9. Also this month we're gonna give burgerfuel a break and smash a curry at "arranged marriage" in the square. Meet at same place to start/comment if you're coming so we can book a table
  10. Hey guys, Meet at the ferguson street lower plaza carpark at 7pm meet us there at 7, then we'll grab some takeaway feeds at 7:30-8 from surrounding places. - Just a note, feel free to invite other cars/people along, but you will be responsible for them! Please leave no rubbish and no skids/rowdy driving in the carpark - We've been given permission from the Plaza to use this, and we don't want to loose it. We have a rain free car park, and the barrier arms go up shortly after we arrive, meaning no parking fees. This won't be on facebook as such, so make sure you write it in your diaries/phones. Make sure you bring some warm clothes and a camera. Seeya there!
  11. guys can someone have a look at the 2002 bmw "mags" and let me know what they are. Just if you're there. Oh and if any of the 02s go cheap enough maybe. Flick me a text/ring on the day on 0274242086
  12. Ok. So, that was really a waste of money spending refurbing those fins right? Because you now have the perfect wheels. I'm lots more excited now btw.

  16. Well that didn't really deserve a new page.
  17. Keen for doort off WW2 allied enemies battle.
  18. Cheers lads! Yeah it goes bloody well tbh. Will take on board the above advice and try and relay it horribly inaccurately to the tuner this week. There will likely be a further tune once engine is run in a bit more.
  19. Dyno plots, one in 3rd, one in 4th
  20. Well, not quite ready for nats, but good things take time right? On Thursday evening it fired into life for the first time. After lots of fiddling, and a round of fish and chips, we shuffled the E21 onto the dyno at approx 9.15pm. Big thanks to Roskilda autos! Rodney and Ari are great guys who know who to get stuff sorted, and went hard to get me doorting for the weekend! After the first run was worked out properly on a calculator on my phone translating to "old barry horsepower" figures, my face turned to a big notbad.jpg Things only improved from there. I rang the engine builder the next day to tell him the numbers. Pretty sure it's one of the only times I've heard him curse. We were both pretty happy! 152wrhp/190hp at the engine
  21. Oh hey m9. Brendon sent me a 510 one. See how we go.
