Yorks run their own oil sump that lubricates the piston, if the rings are still good should have minimal oil going into the air lines, there are also mods that can be done to them that reduce it even further. I have never actually used one in an airbagged car but have bought and sold maybe 30-40 of them over the years to minitruckers and offroading people. They are quite cool wee things, can pump like 18CFM at redline and have an electric clutch so can disengage them when not in use.

shit that's cool, we need something that sort of size for our deck. All the ones you can buy are so tiny and flimsy looking

There's a few of us Volvo nutters on here now lol. Anyone have a spare set of front struts or rear spring cups? Or internal panels for the back of a wagon? Lol Mine is a b21 carb with 5 speed. Need to sort the rust out Keen to see more pics of this once you get it up there

Far out, I have tried to buy this car multiple times over the years and always been a day or two late each time. So stoked you have gotten it though, each time I was planning to buy it just to rob the dash, bonnet and front end to swap to my cars I have had at each time. Depending on what is wrong with the gauges there is a guy that sells reprinted circuit boards for them for not toooo much money

That would look lush as

As someone who has 5x108, trust me, you don't want it at all, options for wheels so limited

wat Never seen a bad stigma towards crossbreed engine conversions here -
Random question but is that a crack between EXPORT and OR?
-
yeah man, same block/engine family as the turbo 240, 740, some 940, factory exhaust manifolds will fit etc but put the turbo in a yuck place. need to drill oil drain etc. rods are weaker than the 2.3 engines AFAIK. Easiest would be to get a whole 2.3 out of another car and swap it over. either run a megasquirt etc or get an LH2.4 out of a later car and wire that all in. Check out http://www.volvo300mania.com/uk/forum/ they will have all the info you want, quite a common swap over there This is wrong, GLT was never turbo, no factory turbo in the 360 series
