What I like about Milwaukee is they do a 12Ah battery. Not cheap, (or super light) but they just go and go and go.

I had to give all my Milwaukee shit back at the end of my old job. But I abused the fuck out of it, and it took it. Plus the grinder (125mm) was beautifully balanced smoother to hold than most of my plug in ones.

Had Hitachi to start with but decided to switch to Milwaukee around 17' Nothing wrong with Hitachi but I reckon maybe it was going through the transition to hikoki so the range wasnt that great hence going to Milwaukee.
man i rate Milwaukee hard, good batteries ( had a couple issue with the 6ah 12v and 12 ah 18v but they were replaced under warranty) the skins have all been mint. ive dropped them from multi metre height and they dont give a fuck.
only downside is the batteries where if they take too much punsihment the tiny screw posts crack and the top seperates from the bottom.
easily fixed by using some plastic weld.
Also every store seems to have milwaukee so support is pretty easy.

i have like 20+ skins now. pretty happy with them tbh

One more likely stupid question, torque to angle bolts, specs for the new head is 40nm then 105° then 105° again, easy enough.

But it's a van and there's a big steel structural part over and around the rearmost head bolts, I can't see any way to get a 105° swing in the gap so would say a 50° and a 55° turn in place of the 105° be the go or should I be figuring out a way to tilt the engine etc way forwards to get the full 105?

Yeah the measurement is just so you get x amount of stretch in the bolt , can do it 5 degrees at a time if you want

    Hey @Hemi,
It doesnt do that stuff automatically.
What I did prior to the start of that video, is that I found an image that was nice and "flat" as in, had minimal perspective distortion.
If you are standing really close to something when you take a photo, the item at the center of the photo is closer to the camera than the items at the edges, so you get distortion of sizes.
If you stand further back and zoom in, then you get everything propertioned more correctly as this effect is minimized.
So, thanks to the random internet photographer person who took those nice photos of a 4GR block haha.
So once you've got a nice photo, you need to import it into the program and then tell it how big it is.
So normally you pick between two known points, and enter a dimension - then it will rescale the image to that distance.

Ok cool, so im nub as.
    wh9ch is cool, because yeah.

  7. Yeah im all about fuel powered ones , single phase just dont have that 18hp vangaurd grunt. i remember the diesel one on the back of the work UD could run a workshop bar the big bertha inch gun , and i suspect that was because it was running through too smaller lines.

To be fair he is in his late 80’s and can spin a sharn that would even make wankbank blush. African stone dildos is just the tip of the iceberg!
When we plan to go past next time and if everyone is keen I could hit him up to take us on a guided tour of his station.

I got a bit worried when he got out with the ute running and it #1 in gear and then in no gear and no handbrake.
HOwever he was GC enough to come out and help us so a GC regardless.
