  1. Link to cheap android unit with wireless Android auto? I can only find wired ones and reviews always say the cheap/small ram/rom versions are sluggish to operate
  2. Skip the swaybar upgrade and put the money's towards tyres for reverse b-outs
  3. Great history A+ I love the fairing
  4. Here's another. It's a KP60 as it originally had a 2k and x code diff. And it's a drophatch with flat front conversion as has been established. Happy to share more pics if I can boot up my old laptop and answer any questions but I can imagine it's had a whole string of different engines etc since my ownership. Fond memories of this car for sure!
  5. I was thinking that when reading the first post but couldn't spot anything to verify, but the plate confirms it! I have seen it pop up in various states on trademe over the years so it's awesome to see a thread on here again! Sadly pics all dead in old thread
  6. Ready to hit those like & subscribe buttons. I like how rest of car is 'done' so we can kick things straight off with intake manifolds mocked up in engine bay etc
  7. Wouldnt need much to liven up an Anglia. Alot of suggestions are the same that have been done for the last two or three decades and are probably harder to source plus cost lots. Would be cool to see more modern options although I don't know how viable they are not coming as factory rwd configations. Suzuki swift sport M16a or K14c 3 or 4 cylinder Ford ecoboost Etc
  8. Install fourth pedal in footwell to control a linkage to butterfly? Or convert to auto an use the old clutch pedal?
  9. I kept seeing this car come up in my recommended listings on Facebook Marketplace, not sure what crimes I had committed for it to suggest me a landcrab. Neat though, fond memories of burning around the Hamilton lake in one of these
  10. Phoooooaaaarr New paint who dis Looks bangin
  11. Top one is clearly a Lexus, bottom one is a A32 Maxima?
  12. Choice, I had the same wheels on my escort but always thought they would suit a starlet too
  13. Damn that black vitesse looked the business/less yuck than the others. Hopefully some abandoned Land Rover with a great engine but parked in a field for 7 years due to trivial issue that boggled the owner but you can fix in a jiffy comes up for sale cheap in your future
  14. Oh man, imaging having to open the engine internals, walk in the park after this level of clever custom fabrication work
  15. ^ what Goat said. My sister has a similar one, might be prefacelift in the same blue. Had annoying issue with occupancy sensor in the seat cushion failing causing an airbag light on the dash and a wof fail. Apparently very common on this era Suzuki's and some cars even being written off as a result, which seems bonkers. Chucked a resistor in there to trick the sensor which seemed to be the recommended fix found online.
  16. It has same driveline as aqua, but more conventional looking body/interior. Has the essentials but otherwise they are pretty no frills. Mine is 14 model before the facelift, it's a high spec one so has alloys an smart locking etc plus comfy as front seats. Feels quite narrow, good for city but we generally opt for the Accord when heading out of town. Mean gas usage but tbh if you could work with an EV then I'd go straight for that
  17. I'm averaging 4.4L/100km city driving in fielder. Daily route is hilly an only short which doesn't help my numbers. Oil change shortly, what grade are people putting in their aqua race motors? 0w20 the go? Need to pump up the tyres to Max an do a fresh polish
  18. I like the action shot of the tacho
  19. I feel like it fits in there too well, the uninformed may think it is stock or some off the shelf part and not truly appreciate the effort you have gone to here. B+
