  1. Huge thanks to Bart, Mof, Harry & Karl for all of the organising for this amazing four day melee. Here's a few of my pics:
  2. @holdenman I’d be keen on a bed on Sunday night. Also camping out other nights.
  3. Thanks @Mof for route plan and on the trail research - great photos. I’m in, looking forward to it…..
  4. Do you have any dates planned for this must attend 2024 Melee I can pencil in??
  5. Huge thanks to @RUNAMUCK and everyone involved in organising the routes, the support vehicles for amazing hot lunches and winching my bike back onto the Porika, the great group of riders all willing to share their extensive knowledge of all things bikes, helping each other out and making a very memorable melee. Good to catch up with some familiar faces and meet some new ones. I can still smell the two stroke from some of those bikes. Can't wait until next time.......... I have put together a compilation of my photos and vids below. @Pee Dubs I borrowed your photo of my recovery - hope that's ok. Cheers
  6. Here's a compilation of my snaps from last weekend - enjoy!
  7. Good detailed review here: https://www.remotemoto.com/articles/aprilia-etx-150-adventure-bike/
  8. Huge thanks to all the top blokes who organised this ride and support crew with the awesome daily lunches from the off-road food trailer. Great to meet an awesome group of riders. Also thanks to fellow Monkey man Jeff for sharing the details of this event with me. I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing three day route, riding to places I never thought I’d ride the Monkey bike, and over the most varied terrain. Whilst the Monkey did very well and was a comfortable ride, I was riding it as hard as I could and at times it was a mission to keep up with the rest of you. The 12-inch wheels and unforgiving stock suspension proved challenging in the potholed sections and gave limited control on some of the looser gravel – great fun though and I can’t wait to do this again next time! My clutch got a good workout particularly going up the Maungatapu track and trying to keep the front wheel down. Cheers again Sean
