  1. Hey all can you help me and maybe I can help you all..

Not sure if this is the correct section but here goes..

I am looking at saving anything and everything old school before you decide to send it to doctor death.. aka scrap metal..

I will remove in anyway possible rusty/crashed/incomplete and or unwanted vehicles and will give your scrap metal price for them! Or take them free if you would just like them gone or if your out of my 100km Radius..

Basically way too many cars are going to scrap metal dealers with salvageable parts still attached..

Once they go there they don't come back and we all miss out on precious parts weather they be rust cuts/chrome/panels etc and what a fucking waste that is..

I would like to offer people local to Tauranga and up to "for now" a 100km Radius to Tauranga another option.. Me lol

There is a waiting list if your happy to wait..

Eventually I will have a stock list but not available yet..

Feel free to send me a private message with pics and I will get back to you within a few days at the latest.

Thanks for looking and I hope to hear from some of you soon..

Fiat 500 is long gone btw sorry it's just an example of the shit I'm willing to take..

Yeah man, lush barges to drive and it isn't horribly sluggish being the injected 4g54. Funny yours has an unknown leak into passengers side footwell, this does too, and so did my v3000 hahaha.

Lmfao i just had to remove the carpet from my v3000 for same issue...

Gonna be bloody sad to see it go actually, developed a bit of a bond with that car haha.

Yea they are actually surprisingly nice to drive comfy and cruisy.. would go Soo much better and more reliable with a 2.0 dohc conversion tho..

So do I. Some how there is never any time available to do anything with them. Maybe when children move out an area/room can be designated my playroom and I can get back into it.

Always found the lack of available kits of "normal" cars an issue in the late '70s/early '80s. Plenty of exotica but almost nothing that you'd see on the road every day. Wish we'd got the full Airfix range of 1/32 stuff here in New Zealand. All the British car goodness.

Yea 1/24 aoshima and fujimi have the best range of jap classics. But ricks models do a range of resin kits too.. have seen monaros/falcons/rx2 coupe and Anglia 105e but gotta be fast on those ones lol

I like RX-3’s. Plan is to convert one of these to an 808 coupe.75FAE4EA-D6D2-4F77-8761-42623A2C2B4A.thumb.jpeg.80fb2ca966946b4d4b64e32c6033d6b9.jpeg

Don't kill me but my first derby car 1993/94 was an 808 and brother in law did genuine tagged rx4 sedan both had piston motor for derby tho

Is that a Morrie Resin body?

I have a box of kitsets I've hoarded over the years for when I get old. Prized possessions are 2 aoshima Mad Max Falcons.

Also, I like that this thread stands apart from Diecasts. Diecasts are gay. Kitsets involve real building and modding.

Yes mate it's a Morrie panel Van resin body, I try to collect anything relevant to the "kiwi car scene" bettles/combies/bemas/mercs/and anything I can find jap
