  1. surely the cops get to know you guys after a while of pesting around. The word must get out about the outlaw scooter club?
  2. sounds a lot like you might have a winner. was the 55 measures on the rubber I tried to measure the id of the frame.
  3. Very happy with the PA10. Smell is something else but it's done exactly what it's men't to do. chucked the frame back up gave it all a bit of grease. Engine back down on mounts. Just waiting on the springs to come back from the sand blasting powder coating. Bit over the top for a Friday night if i'm honest.
  4. these are approx measurements @Otodat round bush is 52mm and best guess about 37.5 mm deep set into the frame. the wedge type is 62x29 mm on the rectangle wedge bit... I'm not pulling them out but here is a photo hope it helps.
  5. sure I wont be pulling mine out but i'll do my best with some verniers tonight
  6. Thanks mate. wow ok easy tech screws ? or riv nut...
  7. very lame one... some goose put a fuel pump under my datto. and forgot to hang the rubber fuel line up so it's hanging in the breeze. ready to get busted off. whats the accepted way to clamp a fuel line up? This issue may be double trouble because it's a hose and not a fuel line pipe.
  8. was finding a chin spoiler are major ? @CUL8R or @kicker
  9. sounds like it's all within my abilities.. I'll wait till if got the sub frame back in and give it a good crack. I'm going to have to sub a nice oven for a heat gun... needs must. it's all been stripped and etched .. @brocky41 the sub frame mounts look manky but they are not cracked id say they are going to go another turn. The ball joints i'm just going with the whole if it has a ripped boot i'll replace it deal. As long as the bloke who looks under it for the next WOF see's that it's kind of loved i'll be happy... Did you put the stainless muffler on the back of it ?
  10. Decided media blasting was not really required. wire buff and rust kill many times over and then as soon as the steel way dry on with the first coat of epoxy.
  11. has anyone had a got/ ideas to send my tappet cover for the good ol wrinkle finish paint job. ? taking advice now. Will deal with it at the end or whatever it is I finish doing. https://oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/60117-scotts-260c-h330/
  12. put my hand up between chassis and frame.... felt a little bit to rust like for me to be ok with I needed to inspect.... pulled the frame not as bad as I thought it was going to be just surface rust. .... wire buff... and PA10 shal be my friend. Might as well keep it nice and not let it go to waste in front of my very eyes.
  13. Alternators shat... meh..electronic ignition crapped out.. Make some new wires bash a new one on... still kind of missed and ginned around fix the voltage drop issue across the key switch/wires.. put a relay in to drag a +12 across to the coil +
  14. Project discussion: I bought this site unseen from Hamilton a few months ago. It's @brocky41 old car credit to him getting it going. Turns out it's actually a good thing... Spend the last little while fixing little stuff.. Tuning it up and charging around the country side. Really nice jap cruiser.
  15. Did my time at Holden in ozz Caloundra.. Use to get told a lot about how the police pack stuff had ECM's that was tuned for more power (loads of shit) all the kids were pining over BT1 chassis codes. (1" lowered suspension" ) ohh God love the OBD1 ROM chip days.
  16. Yeah... I'm picking up what your putting down.. Was just trawling the net found that and I went into a tail spin laughing.
  17. facepalm.. "my car hasnt had 02 sensors in.. forever. it roams around in a open loop speed density tune. killing small children and raping helpless mothers at night."
  18. man some of thoes fire extinguishers cause some major damage to electrical wires. Worse than the actual fire in some cases. dry powder me thinks
  19. North bank to to st arnaud.... long way... you can get a fair way up and eventually you drive threw some farmland and get to a gate. A lot of it is public access. In all honesty it throw the bikes over or under and just go it.. as I think there is DOC land to enter into the Goulter. it will spit you out at the wash bridge. from there it's a long straight bit of road all the way back to the rainbow/lake.
