  1. i plan to o/s the rings anyway,so block will get a hone heke...and will use a 265 head thatll need a mean skim to get the comp ratio up... not planning to do the valves or anything though...

  3. how tech is it to rebuild an engine? ie, rings,big ends and mains bearings? is it a case of just ripping it all apart and slapping the new shit in it? or do you have measure stuff... i want to get my hemi rebuilt asap, but cant afford to pay some "mechanic" to do it for me. especially when it could fuk out on the first lap... i know alot of you guys have rebuilt your own motors, and am super jealous of your epic skills. would love to be able to do my own shite also.. ive done the head gasket on the hemi, but now know i needed a composite gasket instead of the shitty steel one i got.. if you guys have any tips or advice please let me know.. alos if theres any special tools ill need.. obviously ring compressor and digital verniers right?
  4. yeah racetech seats are farking expensive for what they are.my mate paid $2500 for his one, last 2 years before it was fucked... thats a total of 25 meetings..

  7. obviously it will need to be rotated so the flange sits flat,and also the comp housing will need to be rotated so the outlet can be upright.. probably wont i/c cos theres fuk all room for a cooler/piping..would rather not have to cut shit up anyway.. so thinking of making a J pipe...little bit laggy but meh...not after huge power or anything anyway..the turbo has a smallish comp wheel by the looks,also a smallish exh wheel compared to the t3 on the ld28....so hoping for around 5-6psi.... just enough to be usefull..not too much to melt shit..

  9. vac leak??? spray some brake clean around the carby/throttle body/manifold to find leaks.. if it doesnt show anything then you may had a torn/fukt diaphram...

  13. nah didnt see that.. im keen to get some more power into the proceed.. cant decide what way to do it though.. ive got that ht18 turbs sitting here.. and the g6 runs lowish compression.. but a fe3 turbs will kill puppies with ease...

    well thats not gonna be easy to find a direct replacement then.. mostlikely a l20et turbo then...cos thats what the manifold would be too...

    ah didnt think the pic worked.. the exh housing is bolted on...theyr f-n tight and dont feel like theyl release without heat/snappage.. will measure the bolt spacing once ive downed my lunch

    dont think this pic will work, ill try it anyway.. the turbo has "nissan motor" on the comp housing. has the standard nissan 4 bolt manifold flange the dump pipe is a square 4 bolt pattern... is oil cooled only... need to know what its off so i can find another one before i end up blowing money on another motor if its the turbo thats gone... had a good look at it today and theres signs of oil seeping out of the wastegate pivot pin thing, and i can see a little bit of oil in the exh housing behind the turbine... so its now got me thinking the turbo seals could be gone??? no shaft play in it at all.. sound likely?

  23. anyone got a nissan turbo with a 4 bolt exhaust flange that they dont need? would be keen to borrow/buy to rule out if its the turbo or not... chur
  24. havent touched the pump other than backing off the fuel a whole turn.. smoke went from grey to whitey blue.. you reckon more boost?
